Towards Jungkook's last class, he, Taehyung, and Baekhyun were called down to the office. He was sitting in a chair, Taehyung sitting by his right while Baekhyun sat on the left. The principal looked at the three with stern eyes, adjusting his glasses.
"So... You three got in a fight this morning. I'd like to speak about it with all three of you in the room." he started. "Starting with Baekhyun, tell me what happened."
"I-I... I was talking with them and... We started arguing, then Jungkook attacked me... for no reason at all. I didn't do anythi-"
"That's not what happened at all!" Taehyung tried to protest.
"Don't interrupt him-"
"No, no, you don't understand. You really don't. Baekhyun and Jungkook are a thing, right? Here's the thing. Baekhyun's been beating and screaming at Jungkook over the littlest things, such as merely talking to me-"
"What!? No, I have not!"
"Don't even try to lie about it, Baekhyun. Why else do you think Jungkook's afraid of you? Why does he flinch and shut his eyes when you yell?" Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows at Baekhyun. He turned to look at the principal again. "Baekhyun honestly deserves this. What happened first was Baekhyun grabbed Jungkook and started screaming at him because he was talking to me... Yes, talking. He called him names, insulted him, and shook him-"
"S-Stop lying, Taehyung! Shut the hell up!" Baekhyun yelled, standing up.
"Baekhyun, sit back down and don't curse like that! You're making me believe him even more with that attitude of yours." The principal rose his voice, Baekhyun sitting back down and crossing his arms, leg bouncing in its spot.
"As I was saying, that's what started it. Baekhyun's been doing this for a while. Not sure how long, but long enough to not let him keep doing this anymore." Taehyung sighed. "So, because he was yelling at Jungkook... I punched him. He started yelling at me too, pushed me into the lockers, then the floor and even started punching me too. Jungkook shoved him away from me and started bashing his head into the lockers... That's all."
"...So... Jungkook. Is this true?" The principal looked over at Jungkook, waiting for a response. Jungkook's hands shook anxiously, glancing over at a glowering Baekhyun. He looked down at his lap after, slowly nodding. Baekhyun's blood boiled even more.
"...Then, I will have to expel you, Baekhyun." The principal said, writing down some notes on his notepad.
"Wh-What..? Why!? Why are you believing them? It's n-not true! I haven't done anything wrong-"
"Based on previous records of getting into fights, you'll be expelled. Besides, I'm not all that surprised you've been doing this kind of thing. You put up an attitude with everyone I've seen you talk to. Taehyung and Jungkook have no record or background of any of that. This is the first time I've heard of them doing anything." Baekhyun didn't respond. His cheeks were flaming red as he stood up, immediately walking out of the room. The principal smiled at Jungkook and Taehyung. "You two are good kids. I know neither of you would do anything. And Jungkook... Block his number when you can. You don't need to talk to him ever again. He won't be here anymore anyways. You two are dismissed."
Jungkook nodded, slowly standing up. "Th-Thank you... Seriously, thank you..." he whispered, biting his bottom lip and bowing politely to the principal. Taehyung smiled at the principal, grasping at Jungkook's hand and slowly walking out of the room with him.
The bell rung, signaling it was the end of the day. Taehyung stopped in the hall, wrapping his arms around Jungkook tightly. Jungkook hugged back, not even saying anything. Neither of them did. They only stood there, in each other's arms, and hugged. Jungkook hid his face in Taehyung's shoulder, closing his eyes and sighing softly. They didn't care if anyone stared at them either. They only wanted to be with each other at the moment.
~~~
Jungkook rested in bed, right next to Taehyung's sleeping figure. Internally, he was yelling at himself for getting Taehyung tangled up into his own mess. He wished he hadn't met Taehyung. If he didn't have Taehyung in his life, everything would've been better off. Sure, Jungkook would be in even more pain and at risk of committing suicide... or being killed by his dad, but that didn't matter to him. He'd rather be in more pain than to stress Taehyung out.
Without thinking, he slowly got out if bed and stood up. Jungkook grabbed the razor that was hidden in his bag, going to the bathroom and locking the door shut. He rolled his sleeve up, looking down at the mess of scars and scabs on his skin, ready to make new ones. Without hesitation, he started to cut deep into his skin, hissing and whimpering at the stinging and aching feeling. But he was used to this. This was fine. He kept cutting and cutting, repeating the same on his other arm. Even his legs.
Eventually, Jungkook stopped cutting himself. He bled and bled, letting his thick black sweatshirt soak up the blood. The little rodent he had to feed was satisfied. Somewhat. He put away the razor back into his bag, crawling back into bed and almost immediately passing out. He didn't care how long he was going to be out for, but he didn't care. He just wanted to sleep, and hopefully never wake up. Ever.
