Chapter 14

ALEX POV

All I can think about is buying my own home with this girl as soon as we get back, luckily for us this is our last night here and tomorrow afternoon me and m'lady will be back in LA with our friends again! I roll over to notice Chloe still sleeping; she looks best in her messy bun, no makeup and pyjamas. I notice she fell asleep with her phone in her hand which I grab and enter my thumbprint to unlock where I see awful messages which had been left whilst I was sleeping. This bitch does not know when to stop.
I block the number on Chloe's phone and get out of bed, kissing her on the forehead as I wrap her up in the blanket, I wonder how long she was kept up worrying because of these vile texts; why doesn't she just tell me?!
I make my way into the kitchen where I began preparing the mixture for pancakes, I grab my MacBook and shut the bedroom door so Chloe could not hear when I ring David.
"Hey bro" I whisper, putting my finger over my mouth to indicate Chloe was still asleep.
"Hey! How you been?" He asks, nodding to show understandment.
"Well until last night, Gabbie's been messaging Chloe horrible message again. We need to do something about this and as soon as I get back I'm going to the police station, if they don't sort it I will take the matters into my own hands." I said with frustration, I just couldn't believe some little jealous bitch wanted to harm my soon to be wife, or I hope so Atleast.
"Yeah bro no worries, I did forget to mention she's out of the hospital and not spoke to any of us since the incident. Liza - wait- okay. Alex I'll be at the airport when you land, Ive got to go. Good luck though, we will sort it, enjoy the rest of the hours." As the FaceTime call ended, what is happening? Why is everyone acting strange, I didn't even manage to tell him I'm planning on moving out!

CHLOES POV

I wake up as I hear Alex's frustrated voice coming from the kitchen although I couldn't make out what he was saying. Anyway, I jump into the shower where I wash my hair and body before the long flight back home and I must say, I'm dreading it! About 20 minutes later I am finally done and go to the kitchen where I notice pancakes on the counter but no Alex - where is he?

Hey babe- pack our bags please. I'm just nipping to the shop to get a couple of bits for David and Liza as gifts.

I notice the note which was beautifully written but gosh! I forgot we was leaving today. I quickly scoff the pancakes and run into the bedroom where I messily throw all our clothes in the suitcases, which are being now sat on by me to try squash everything into place due to us buying so much whilst being here!!!!

ALEX POV

"Yes this one please" I point out to the man as he packages up the gift beautifully in a sweet little white box, winking at me. "Good luck with the lucky lady" he says as I leave the store "thank you so much" gosh I just love France wish I could stay here forever.

I pick up a couple of teddies, sweets and other bits for the rest of the gang back at home - and so it didn't look suspicious to why I left so early without Chloe.

I sprint to the hotel room as our flight is in literally an hour, "come on babe!" I shout, rushing in as I notice Chloe sat on the suitcases giggling, oh my god she's so sweet. I pick her up over my shoulder and grab the cases and our documents running down the lobby stairs where I finally drop her on the floor, "we have ages left Alex why are you rushing so much?" She asks in a mood, I can tell she's getting annoyed with how speedy we must be but i completely lost track of time.

"We haven't got long left at all." I answer, Sticking out my arm for a taxi which quickly takes us in; "airport please" I finally lean back noticing Chloe staring at her phone screen at the back, I snatch her phone out her hand and notice more threatening texts - although these ones were in much more detail, they knew we was getting off our plane at 2pm. Chloe buried her head in her hands as I put her phone in my pocket and lean my hand over to her leg. This crazy bitch must have a lot of numbers.

"Thanks for the ride mate." I leave the rest of my euros as they are no longer needed, hopefully it made the guys day. I grab my suitcase and Chloe pulls hers with an upset expression on her face.
"Don't worry Chlo, I'll sort it. You're safe with me" I wink at her as we make our way to the plane.

So on the plane Chloe pretty much slept the whole way, I can just imagine how tired and stressed she was after all those texts. When we got to LA David was there to pick us up, and everything was fine.

CHLOES POV

I wake up in Alex's bed with his heavy arm wrapped around me although that's the only place I now feel safe, I've been having dreams and they're not good ones. I pulled him closer as squeezed my eyes shut, trapping my tears from flowing out when I feel Alex's other arm hug me tight. "Don't worry; you're safe with me" he whispered in a raspy voice.

I think I'm in love.
