The way he looked down at me with those icy blue eyes almost scared me.

"Alright kid before you start your training here there are a few basic rules all of us must follow, your no different. You break the rules you pay the consequences, which may lead to me breaking your neck, got it".
I nodded.
"I guess I should start explaining then. There are only three rules. Never abandon a mission. I don't care what is going on you stay your ass where we tell you to stay until we give you the go. Never associate with a cop the consequences of that are immediate assassination. Our cover can't be blown. Are you still following me"?
"Yes sir", I stated shaking my head.
"This last rule applies to the pretty boys like you. We have been rivaling with the angels for over a decade. We hate them as much as they hate us. Never I mean ever get attached to an angel. Never sleep with the enemy. Do you understand"?, he stated slowly. His icy blue eyes piercing into mine.
"Yes sir", I stated.
