Squad

I am (Fk/N) Hearts, a 15 year old. A soldier till I die. I am a Scouts Cadet since I didn't make it to the top 10 of class. I didn't really try. For the next few days, all the three commanders were going to watch us to see if they want us in their regiments specifically.

"Hey, Hearts." Jean said.

"Hey, Horse." I said with a smile.

"I AM NOT A HORSE!!" Jean yelled.

"Check a mirror." Eren said.

"Combat in 5!" Hanji yelled, one of the captains in the Scouts. Everyone ran out me and Sasha and the commanders and captains. Me and Sasha made eye contact and stared at each other.

"Why did I have a feeling you aren't going to leave until you are done?" I asked.

"Because you're right!" She answered. I just let out a laugh.

"Petra!" One of the kids at the other table yelled. I look to see a piece of bread flying in the air towards us.

"Oh god." Hanji said. I grabbed my plate and threw it at the bread. It went flying back towards the other table. I grabbed a small rock from the floor and slingshot it to the plate. The plate landed in front of a orange haired girl and the bread landed right on it.

"Nice shot!" One of the guys said.

"Thank you!" I said with a smile.

"You could've caught it." Erwin said.

"It would've been in our stomachs if we had caught it." I said with a chuckle.

"One minute. Shadis will kill you." Pixis said. Me and Sasha both stuffed our mouths and cleaned our plates before running out to the field. We got in our spots and the commanders and captains and one squad stood in front of us as Shadis went around and checked everyone. Mikasa looked at me with confusion. I pointed at my mouth. Eren just let out a small laugh. Eren held out his hand in front of my mouth so I could eat comfortably. I quickly finished chewing everything in my mouth before lowering Eren's hand.

"Combat! Partner up!" Shadis yelled. Someone landed between me and Eren and everyone on the field just sighed.

"Like we said stop picking on Annie." Every cadet on the field said.

"Should I pick on the weakest? (Fk/N), let's duel." Reiner said while looking at me.

"I'm not the weakest!" I said.

"Let's duel." He said and got up. We both got in a fighting stance and before I'd know it, I was on the ground.

"This proves you're the weakest." Reiner said.

"(Fk/N), duel me." Annie said while walking up to me. I got up and stared at us.

"What? You wanna insult me too?" I asked and started wiping the dirt of off me. Mikasa started helping me. Annie got in her fighting stance. Everyone stopped their own to watch us. I got in my fighting stance and stared at her. We both waited for each other to make the first move.

"Are you just going to stare at each other?" Hanji asked. Annie lifted her leg to kick me but I just stepped back. She instantly turned back and just threw multiple punches at me which I avoided all. I took my chances and threw punches at her but she avoided them all. She constantly kept attacking me without getting tired. I did a back handspring and grabbed her left wrist.

"Enough." Shadis said to us. Everyone just stared at us with shock.

"So you decided to fight back?" Annie asked.

"Wrong. I decided to keep myself from getting hurt." I answered.

"Let's continue where we left off next time." She said. We both walked past each other.

"That was awesome!" Hanji said and ran up to me excitedly.

"You could've easily gotten into top 10!" Hanji said.

"A rank doesn't define me, I do." I said. I suddenly noticed Pixis behind Hanji about to throw a punch at her. I pretended to hug Hanji and grabbed Pixis' punch. Hanji happily hugged me back. Pixis backed down and I backed up from Hanji.

"You're almost as equivalent as Mikasa. I wonder if you're a Ackerman." Hanji said. My eyes widened but I pretended to not hear what she said. She just stared at me.

"Did I hit something?" Hanji asked and pushed her glasses up.

"Yes." I answered and walked past her. She just started laughing. I turned around and just stared at her going crazy. I let out a chuckle before catching up to Annie, Mikasa, Eren and Armin.
