Trip

It was night and Levi had us stop for a bit to eat and get a little rest. I was curled up by the fire. My titan was sitting by us to protect us from anything.

"This is intimidating." Eren said while looking at my titan.

"Sorry, I will tell her she can go." I said.

"No. We need someone to protect us." Levi said.

"I agree. We all need rest." Armin said. I let out a couple of sneezes. Levi walked up to me and placed his hand on my forehead.

"You're only getting worse." He said and sat down next to me. Akira was up to me and placed her hand on my forehead. She tried to use her magic to heal me.

"Hey, it's not happening again.., is it?" She asked.

"Everyone has a time to die. Maybe mine is right now. I will just be teleported to a different place and start a new life remembering everything." I answered.

"Did you ever go back to one of your old families?" Armin asked.

"I can't, my memories from them are erased. If I leave, you'll forget me." I answered.

"And you've lived like this for how long?" Armin asked.

"1000 years." I answered.

"That's horrible." Eren said.

"Not as horrible as other things." I said.

"What do you mean?" Jean asked.

"Don't worry about it." I answered with a smile.

"When you were born, did you ever realize I was with you?" I asked.

"What?" She asked and stared at me.

"Do you remember when you have a puppy?" I asked.

"It was a stray." She said. I took my puppy form and her eyes widened. I turned back instantly since I was sick.

"You are.. my first friend?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"That's why I've always cared for you more than anyone here... you reminded me of myself... my first mom, the one who give me birth... she treated me the same way as you." I answered.

"Why did she... do that?" She asked.

"Becuase... she didn't accept that she has a child from a stranger... she was a prostitute." I answered.

"My life is similar." Levi said.

"I know." Me and Akira said at the same time. Everyone just stared at us.

"Do you?" Levi asked while looking at Akira before staring at me.

"Your mom was a prostitute as well. She got severely sick and passed away. Your uncle found you and taught you how to use a knife and fight so you could survive on your own. You met Isabel and Farlan after a couple of years. You three stole 3DMGs from the Military Police and often flew around the Underground. The Corps soon caught on and Erwin asked you three to join the Corps. Isabel and Farlan were killed on the first expedition. You brutally killed the titan that killed them..." I said.

"That is very detailed." Armin said. Levi just stared at me with shock.

"How do you both know?" Levi asked.

"I went through your memories." Akira said. I pulled out a knife and spun it exactly the way Levi does.

"Your uncle gave me a couple of lessons and told me a few stories." I said.

"A girl that went through your memories and someone that worked hard to learn about you. Seems like a obvious choice." Eren said. I let out a chuckle and put the knife to the side. Akira threw a rock at Eren but Mikasa pushed it off.

"Chill. He was just joking." I said. Historia sat down next to me.

"Watch your feet." I said and moved her feet away from the fire.

"Get to bed!" Levi said. Everyone instantly ran to their tents except me.

"You talk to me as if you've known me for years." He said.

"I guess that was my first mistake. I thought I knew you because I heard your stories." I said. He just stared at me. I turned and stared at him. I looked away.

"When I saw you, I remembered everything." He said.

"Remembered what?" I asked.

"My past 7 lives." He answered. I just stared at him with wide eyes.

"Something keeps blocking me from you." He said and reached out for my cheek but a invisible blocked it. 

"See." He said. I grabbed his hand and intertwined my fingers with his.

"Sometimes, it's best if one of us goes a different way. It will be less painful in the future. You and Akira are meant to be, I am only supposed to be on the side." I said and let go of his hand. I pulled the blanket back over my shoulder and stared at the fire.

"If it's to help you, I can touch you. If it's for nothing, I can't." He said.

"I'm cold." I said and looked at him while shivering.

"I tired. It detects lies." He said.

"Hey, it's ok. Focus on Akira." I said and got up. I placed my hand on his shoulder and gave it a little squeeze. I walked to my and Mikasa's tent. I got in and laid down on the mat.

"Are you really going to give up on him?" Mikasa asked.

"I don't have an option. Last time this happened, our son... he lived his life without a father... I don't want to go through it again.. I trust him, I really do. But I don't trust my curse or Akira's curse." I answered.

"He's going to stay awake thinking about... I know how he is.." I said and got up. I walked out to see him holding a bottle of alcohol Hanji gave him.

"Levi... Go to bed. Don't drink." I said. He turned and looked at me.

"You shouldn't walk around if you're sick." He said.

"Go to sleep." I said. I suddenly noticed something.

"Where is Lisa?" I asked while looking around for my titan.

"I am sorry. I have to. Levi is only mine." A voice said. I turned my head to see Akira tearing up. I grabbed her by the collar.

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOURE?! HOW CAN YOU LET MY OTHER HALF IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT ME?! SHE REFLECTS ON MY EMOTIONS!" I screamed and threw her at the tree.

"Ackerman." Levi said.

"She isnt coming back." Akira said.

"I can't tell who is worse. The devil that stole my love from me or you who stole my second half. You know I can't survive without her! She was the key to breaking my first curse!" I yelled while crying. Everyone just stared at me with shock.

"My old family would've remembered me if I died her arms! If I die right out, all of you would've remembered me... I would've come right back..." I said. Everyone just stayed quiet.

"You didn't just take Levi from me.... you took my family from me. I supported you, I gathered Reiner, Eren, Bertolt, Annie and Ymir in one place so you could revive yourself again! I knew I would lose Levi but I still did it! You back stabbed me in the end!" I yelled. I heard a loud scream. I turned my head to see Lisa running back towards us. She suddenly stopped and lowered her hand. I ran up to her hand to see some herbs. She pointed at her mouth. A hand grabbed the herbs.

"Historia, cook these up." Levi said. I placed my hand in Lisa's. I felt something in my back. I tried to to see what it was. Levi just looked at me.

"What's wrong?" Levi asked.

"My back hurts." I answered and suddenly felt a sharp pain but a familiar feeling. Feathers started falling all around us.

"The first curse... it's broken!" I said with a huge smile.

"Even if you leave now... we will always remember you." Eren said.
