Saraha-Jezzibelle's POV
I'm not very excited for the show. I'm not really excited for anything though. That's what's the worst but about living in my life. My mom makes me cry. Valentina makes me feel ugly just by existing. And worst of all? I want to be happy but every time I try I realize the illusion of love is nothing but that--an illusion.
Valentina blasted their music on the way there, and I bobbed my head along because, HEY! It's catchy! I tried to be subtle, though. I didn't want Valentina seeing me and think she had won or something. No way! I still don't like Panland! Hey, I got their name right!
Huh? Oh. Never mind.
We pull up outside of the venue half an hour before showtime, and Valentina grasps my arm from across the car, excitement in her eyes.
"We're here!" she said as though I didn't know by the hoards of screaming girls.
"I know," I said, unbuckling my seatbelt and climbing out. It was a thousand degrees outside! I really regret not wearing something that could keep my skin more cool but I have to hide the bruise. That's the worst part about being hit aside from the pain when they hit you.
"Quick! Follow me!" Valentina ran to the door, dragging me behind her. She used her elbows to push past people right and left and up and down even because some people were really tall and others were really short. We got to the front right away and she held out two tickets. The girl with blue hair smiled and ripped off the end and handed them back. Valentina looks faint.
"Let's go get by the stage!" she hollers and hauls me into the room. We get up to the front quickly, just barely nagging a spot right before where Ian stands. I can't help it--I'm a little bit excited. I love concerts, and maybe I'll even get people to start moshing! Haha, that would be so funny.
The lights dim and with a loud CRASH, bam! The band runs out onto stage, playing so loud and awesome. Ian is playing his bass so hardcore, and they are absolutely KILLING IT, I have to admit.
Valentina notices my face and giggles. "Has someone caught the Panicland bug?"
I blush. No way.
(Or at least no way I'm telling her!)
