Chapter 14; The End

It has been 10 years and Sakura Haruno is now 23 years old. The war has ended and everyone is happy...well...except her...she is lost. She doesn't know what to do. Naruto and Sasuke found their happy endings. Naruto married Hinata while Sasuke married Karin. She was still alone. Sai became a Jounin and married Ino. Shikamaru married Temari while she is just here....alone...feeling sadness overwhelm her wellbeing. She hugs herself.

She was so naive thinking that every boy will love her....she was so fucking dumb. She lied down in bed. What will she do now that everyone is happy? Will she go talk to Naruto? Of course not, he's busy being the Hokage. Go talk to Sasuke? Of course not, he's on a journey to find himself while Karin is staying as a housewife. She could go talk to Sai but it would bother him. Maybe...Ino? They haven't been talking with each other that often anymore.

She decided to go talk to her old—not literally—friend. "Hey, Ino-Chan!" She called out. "Hey...Sakura...." said Ino unsure whether to answer or not. "W...W-What's wrong?" She asked feelign fear crawl up on her back. "I..It's just that your parents didn't survive the attack...." her world is crushed. She smiled weakly and excused herself. She walked towards her empty apartment and laid on her bed. She sighs. 'No one will care....' she thought. She grabs a piece of paper and writes it to everyone she cares about. She took a knife from the kitchen and stabs herself. Her clone reappears in everyone's homes and left a note.

It arrived at Sasuke's house first.

Dear Sasuke:
It's me, Sakura! It's been a long time since we talked and I'm glad you and Karin got together. She is so sweet though a bit wild just like Ino...I like her either way. I know that you're on a journey to find yourself and all but...when you're reading this...you won't be seeing or talking to me again. I'm sorry. I can't take it anymore. I have no one now. It's just that...I'm lost. Tsunade-shisou is mourning over Jiraiya-sama's death while Shizune is helping her cope with it while I'm here doing nothing. I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. I'm sorry for not being there when Itachi died during the war. I hope you forgive me.

Dear Naruto:
I'm so happy for you. You accomplished all of your dreams. I'm so happy that Hinata fulfilled her dream of marrying you. I know you're going to be sad after reading this. I just want to say that I can't stick by your words. I'm sorry I broke our promise to never give up in any situation. I know that I am being selfish. I know that I'm useless. Please forgive me for what I'm about to do. You don't have to hold a funeral. I won't mind! Please don't cry while reading this. I don't want to see you cry anymore. You have gone through enough. Don't worry...it's not your fault. It's mine. I chose for it to end this way. I hope you forgive me.

Dear Shikamaru:
I'm sorry. I know you didn't expected this but as you're reading this letter right now...I'm dead since yeah...I committed suicide. I know you probably think that I'm being selfish. I probably am but it's my decision to end it this way. I'm sorry. I just hope that you won't mourn over me like you did with Asuma-San. Please don't. It isn't your fault. Don't mourn over someone that isn't worth mourning over. Tell Temari that I'm sorry for not being alive to continue being the first friend of Gaara. Please forgive me.

Dear Gaara:
I know we haven't talked in a while because you're busy with your duties. I know....that you are having a hard time and my death will probably add more to your stress but it's not your fault. It is mine. I chose this. I'm sorry. I know that you are going to Konoha as soon as you read this...don't. It is my last wish. Please forgive me for I have sinned. I'm sorry for hurting you.

Lastly, it arrived to Sai.

Dear Sai:
Hey! How's your emotion working out? I hope it's well. I heard you married Ino-pig~! Congratulations! She was so happy on your wedding day. I know you must be confused as to why I'm writing this but...I committed Suicide. Yeah...funny huh? When I once told you that I won't and never will take the easy way out. It isn't your fault. I'm sorry for hurting you. I hope you can feel again. I'm sorry. Forgive me, Sai.

And that concludes our story of Sakura Haruno, The Strongest Kunoichi. She didn't die from an enemy's hands. She died because of her own two hands. It is sad really. That night, rain poured over Konoha. Her closes friends cried. A funeral is being held. Lilies were left on her tombstone. That night, Konoha cried. God had wept for months until spring comes....until Sakura blooms. Until...they were reminded of her.

The End....?

In another timeline, Sakura Haruno is born and is being loved by the alternate versions of Konoha. But...things don't end well since she's murdered by her 2 teammates. She smiles. Kami took pity on her and gave her a mission....a mission to save her universe....a mission that has her in another timeline....a timeline where things are messy....that timeline is a timeline that is going to be told in another time.
