The Megalith's roar shook the earth, crumbling the terrified soil. Pokemon and their owners, their only hope was Ash and Alain, making their way into the creature of destruction.

"Don't stop, Alain!", Ash yelled as he motioned for giant rocks to seize in their path, the bright aura glowing in his telekinetic hands.

Alain's fingers dwindled around Chespie's body, eventually getting a firm grasp on the Pokemon before Charizard swooped in to catch him.

The giant rock began to crumble, but Alain wouldn't leave until he found the other. He pushed Charizard to keep flying around in search for Ash, until it came to the point where he needed to get out himself. His guilt intensified with each second he left the younger boy behind, and just prayed he made it out on his own with that aura of his.

Mairin held Chespie close to her heart as the Megalith crumbled into gravel. Dust blurred their sight and forced coughs out of their throats, but they were relieved. They'd won.

As soon as the smoke cleared, a vengeful figure climbed on top of the debris. He wasn't finished yet.

Just as Lysandre was about to activate the device around his arm, a bright light shone through the surface below him, drawing his and everyone else's attention. He begun to ignore it, but not before a swift tentacle-like claw burst out from underneath him, wrapping itself around his body and dragging him back under to drown in the ashes.

The ground rumbled once more, petrifying those who thought victory was theirs, yet there was a much more dangerous creature waiting to face them.

A claw broke through the earth, throwing dust off of itself. Then another, reaching out as if it was thirsty to suffocate. At least six more made their appearance, and by this time, our heroes were expecting some sort of large creature to emerge from below. Contradicting their predictions, a figure of a human, seemingly a child of short stature, seemed to be the center of the claws.

Only then did, not only those who ventured through time, but also the 'gym leaders', 'champions' and even Lysandre, realize.

"It's Ash"

The boy soared towards the clouds with a rapid burst of energy, before conjuring dark aura between his fingertips, flooding those large tentacles. With violent winds and montages of destruction, the former heroes found their and their Pokemon's bodies driven into the dirt, exhausted from fear and confusion.

Finally, the boy's last victim of revenge was once again trapped within the grasp of his supernatural arms. Lysandre hardly squirmed around, as he knew he wouldn't be able to escape, but he couldn't help but be hurt, and not just physically.

The boy propelled him into the earth, so rapidly and brutally that the impact sent him flying, his own force lifting him up briefly before his aura dissipated. Gravity was in control once again, even his tears could hardly cling to his eyes as his body lifelessly plummeted towards the ground. Time seemed almost frozen until he made contact with the surface, and in that instant, once again, everything shattered.
