Saige had a normal life. She lived in a small cabin which was surrounded with a huge forest. She had a mother named Margret and a brother named Seth. She loved her family as much as they loved her. Saige was 16. She was old enough to handle a bow or spear now.
One after noon, Saige went to go hunting in the large forest that surrounded her house. She looked for hours upon hours but no luck. It started to get late and she was getting exhausted from Mother Nature teasing her. She would think she saw a deer but only to find a stump. She would think she saw a bird but only to see a falling leaf. She followed the trail that lead to her house. On her way, she spotted a small dough (female deer FWI) wondering around, grazing on the dead leaves. Saige quickly loaded her bow and brought it to her face. She took a deep breathe and released the arrow. The arrow whizzed by and stuck into the animals flank. It jumped up and ran to a random direction. Saige quickly took the next arrow and shot it, but it missed. The deer ran off, and Saige left empty handed. Luckily, she found herbs that where edible. She returned home to her family and was totally oblivious about what was happening soon.
