"You look lonely," I jumped at a soft voice coming from behind me.

I smiled. "Y-yeah. I don't really want to be here. The only reason I came was-"

"a friend," we said in unison. We laughed together.

She held out her hand to me. "Im Nayeon."

I took it. "Hirai Momo."

"Nice to meet you."

"Again?" Nayeon asked, sitting down next to me in the far back corner of the room.

I laughed. "I avoided last week, but I got dragged here yet again."

Nayeon smiled. "Dragged here. You make it sound like you didn't want to come. And to think, all the things you missed last week," she gestured down her body with her hands.

I playfully punched her arm. "It's not as bad with you here. I can . . . tolerate you."

She gasped dramatically. "How dare you?!?!"

I started laughing hysterically. I don't know what it was, but there was just something about her. I was oddly drawn to her.

"Earth to Momo," Nayeon joked, waving her hand in front of my face.

I quickly shook out of my daze. "Hmm?"

She smiled. "I was trying to ask who exactly you knew here. Other than me of course."

I smiled. What a charmer.
