Quickly grabbing my bathing suit from my room, I yell across the house to my mom who is sitting a her laptop. "I'll be back in a bit, and i'll text every hour."

"Okay, be safe." My mom says once i'm in front of her. I open the front door in a rush, but I am stopped with a question. "What have you eaten today?"

I turn back around and suddenly my mom is standing in front of me.  She has her hands on her waist waiting for my excuse.

"No." I say. I look around trying to think of what to eat.

"Were you really gonna walk out of this house not having eaten a single thing?" she scolded. "Why don't you take an egg. I made two for you and you never ate them"

An egg. Really?! I quietly go to the fridge and take out a hard boiled egg. Then I grab a container and cover my egg with salt and pepper. In the midst of my preparing my mom adds "Why don't you take some fruit as well, we have so many oranges that you don't eat." So I grab an orange and look at her.

"Okay iv'e got everything, can I go now please" I ask as politely as possible trying not to sound too pissed off. I never eat breakfast. That's one thing I hate about weekends. Food gets thrown in my face by a person who barely even eats herself. She frees me finally. I set off to a house that i'd much rather live at. I eat my egg along the way. Once I arrive I see my best friend at the door. We wave to each other and say "Hi" as I approach. She tells me she needs to walk her dog, so she get a leash attaching it to the small fluff ball. First I throw away my orange that I would not eat. Then we walk up the street and around the corner, I feel a sharp pain in my legs. It hurts badly but I do not mention it because I could handle it. We would be back to relax in no time. So I sucked it up and we talked about our day. We laugh and take silly pictures along the way. We are back at her house, and my leg pain is gone. I say hi to her family and head we head to her room. Her little sister is in the room playing with her dolls. In her room we laugh and talk about the silly things her four year old sister is doing.

"Guys, dinner is ready!" her dad calls out.

"Coming" we reply

Hot lasagna waits at the table waiting to be consumed. We all dig in. At dinner, our days are discussed, we share some laughs, and stories. Once her and I are done we excuse ourselves and get bathing suits on. When i'm finished getting dressed I go to the kitchen and see my best friend mixing hot chocolate. She looks at me smiling "I made cocoa and I have our candy boxes"

"Awww you're so nice"

Candy boxes were our thing, but since we didn't get the candy today I did not expect her to already have some. I take my box, towel and cocoa happily. We make our way to the hot tub careful not to spill our drinks. We got in, slowly trying to get used to the burning water. I told her my deepest darkest secrets and she told me hers. In those few hours we cried, laughed, sang and got super silly. In the middle of it all, there was a shooting star. That was the most emotional and dreamy moment that iv'e ever experienced.  The rest of the night felt like I was in a movie. I wondered how a night could feel so special. I was afraid that something would happen to ruin it, but that night was something I never thought would happen to me. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
