𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮

xiii. Eater Of Worlds.

   

     The group had made it through the passageway Ben had told them about, Richie carrying Eddie with Niklaus' help. "I need a little rest," Eddie said so Niklaus and Richie set him onto the ground and to lean against the cavern's walls. "Eds? Can you tell me, did you fucking push me out of the way to save me?" Niklaus said, his hand on Eddie's that was holding the jacket on his wound.

"Klaus... I did." He smiled and glanced up at Richie. "Take care of him..." He whispered and Niklaus glared. "Don't say that like you're gonna..." He paused and sighed softly. "We're getting you out of here and all patched up." He whispered and Eddie glanced up. "Hey, Richie?" He said and Richie quickly kneeled down in front of him.

"Yeah, buddy?" He smiled and Eddie looks at him. "I gotta tell you something." He says and Richie nods. "What is it?" He asked and Eddie looks at him in the eyes. "I fucked your mom." He said and clearly, he just wanted to get a good laugh out of Richie, as he laughed himself. But Richie looked devastated as he stared at Eddie who's laughs turned into coughs. Beverly ran off then, Ben, Mike and Bill following. Niklaus ran off with them.

But the clown quickly turned to them and ran after them. It ran along the wall and got to the entrance before they could. "Got'cha!" He exclaimed loudly and Niklaus backed away slowly. "Woah," Bill exclaimed as Niklaus was behind the four of them. "You foolish filthy little children." The clown chuckled lowly as he stalked towards them.

"You got a plan B, man?! What do we do now?!"

"You die, that's what you do." The clown giggled. "Mike?" Ben looked at the other who looked down then back up. "There's... there's more than one way to make someone small..." He said and Beverly quickly realized what he was saying. "Make him believe that he is!" She says.

"Wh-what?!" Bill exclaimed. "Make It believe that he is!" He said and the clown stops. "Oh? Me? Small?" It laughs as it continued towards them. "I am the eater of worlds." He says with drool dripping from his lip. "Not to me, you're not. You're just a clown." Mike said and Niklaus looks at him.

The clown went after Beverly, "you're a weak old woman." Beverly said to It. "Eater of worlds!" It raised It's arm up to go after Ben. "A headless boy!" Ben called out and it stopped abruptly. "Imposter!" Bill shouts at him and the clown went towards him but Ben stepped in front of him. "You're a mimic!" He exclaimed and it backed away. "A mimic!" Ben repeated what he called him.

"You're a fucking bully!" Beverly shouts. "You're just a fucking clown!" Mike shouted after her as It started morphing into several things, stuff that made them scared. "Just a fucking clown!" Richie yelled from where he was still staying with Eddie. They yelled at him, until it started to crawl away, hiding inside in the middle. It was shrinking, crawling to one side as they continue to yell at him. Richie came in from out of nowhere and grabbed one of It's legs which he then ripped off very roughly.

It was small, resting against the side and his head was smushed down, looking kind of like a pancake to Niklaus. "A clown..." He said it last. "Look at his scared beating heart." Mike said and Niklaus watched as the clown reached over it's body with tiny hands. Mike reached outward to the clown who tried to bite him, growling and sharp teeth which made Mike exclaim loudly.

But it gave up, resting down against the side, staring up at Mike who tried again, reaching out. When they were in reach, It's hands grabbed Mike's much larger hand and Niklaus stared as Mike reached inside, the clown crying out before Mike pulled his hand out, holding a tiny beating heart.

The clown reached out with It's tiny hands, like as if to get it back but he doesn't. He held the heart out and Niklaus reached over first, then Beverly, Bill, Richie then Ben and they all look at the clown who spoke. "Look at you... you're all grown up." The clown said and started chuckling.

They all started squeezing the heart, squeezing the last bit of Pennywise, squeezing the life out of it as the clown cried out, before he slowly stopped, the life drained out of It. They all looked towards the clown, the pretty much dead clown. Just like how he bleeds, his body started decaying, little bits of him falling apart and floating up.

They opened their hands and the same happened to the heart, bits and pieces of it floating up. The deadlights floated around, a bright green colour now before they got small and disappeared. Ben patted Mike's back, the man turning to Bill who grabbed his face and they rested their foreheads together. Niklaus walked over to Richie, the other's arms raising and wrapping around him quickly.

Niklaus hugged the taller man back tightly, his eyes closed as he rested his head against Richie's chest. It was finally all over. The torment, the many kids that go missing, it was finally all over and Niklaus felt safe, right here, in Richie's arms. He pulled back, "Eddie," he whispered to him and Richie nodded, realizing as well before they walk away, the others following behind him.
