I woke up to the sound of the door bell. I groaned getting out of bed and saw it was 10:17 in the morning. The person that was outside kept ringing the door bell.
"I'm coming,I'm coming." I yelled.
I quickly brushed my teeth, hair,& washed my face. I opened the door and guess who it was; no other than Mason.
"Good morning sleepy head." he joked.
"What are you doing here so early?" I asked.
"Don't complain and get ready; I'm going to take you somewhere" ,he said, "Oh, don't bother asking where because I am not going to say."
"Fine." I grumbled."What do I wear?"
"Surprise me." he smiled.
I went upstairs took a shower. I didn't know where we are going so I just wore skinny jeans, a shirt that said 'Gorgeous',and my flats.
"OK,I am ready. Why can't you tell me where are you taking me?"
"It's a surprise", was all he said. I knew I wouldn't get him to tell so I dropped the subject.
Mason opened the car door for me and closed it when I was in. When he started the car and turned on the radio 'Best Love Song' by T-Pain & Chris Brown started playing.
The whole car ride was silent and I was anxious to know where he was taking me.
We finally came to a stop. In front of us was a beach I have never been to before. It was beautiful!
"Maze, what are we doing here?" I asked.
Instead of answering me he got out of the car then opened my door. I got out and followed behind him. When we came close to the sand we both took off our shoes. The sand was so warm.
We got our feet in the water and walked by the shore; the water was cold but we didn't care. Mason suddenly sat down on the sand and I did the same.
"You want the good or bad news first?" he asked with a serious tone, that scared me.
"Bad news",I said hoping it was nothing and he was just joking.
