I walked through the base, as it is now being called. I can understand why it's being called that, I mean most of us live here. As I walk past people wave to me and of course, I wave back. "You know what I heard?" someone said.

"What?" another responded. I stopped to listen.

"Shigaraki killed one of ours," 'shit.' "Todoroki told us in the meeting you skipped."

"Damn."

"But! I found new recruits."

'Great I have to train people again.' I walk to the meeting room. Todoroki is there, the second in command. "Hey, Shoto! Sorry, I'm late."

"It's ok. Please try to be on time though Midoriya."

"I will I just lost track of time, I was making sure my mum was ok," I explained, "and I told you, call me Izuku or Deku."

"I'd rather not. Now to business..."

"I heard. Who did Dusty get?"

"Kichiome-san"

"Kichiome," I mutter, "Oh! You mean Sakura? Oh no... she was good."

"Yes, It is a shame." Shoto stays silent for a moment then continues, "Awase found eight new recruits. I would like the training to be quick. Wear the mask. They will as well."

"...fine."

I headed to the training room and see only three there. 'Whisper must be going through them.' I went to the bathroom and while in front of the mirror I pulled the mask on and put the contacts in. when they started to transmit I walked into the training room and see that five are there, bandanas covering half of their faces. I check my phone and I got a text from Whisper saying that only 5 passed will start my part of the test. I walked in front of them, analysing. "Ok," my altered voice breaks the silence, "we will start with speed. Follow me." I led them to the track. I stand at the start line, turn and am pleasantly surprised that they followed me. "All of you will run. I will watch and time you all, after you finish the full track you will do a 100m track one by one, you will have a set time to beat. My time." I saw them relax a little and I saw two of them chuckled a little at the thought of having to beat my time. I know I have a small stature but they do not know how I am built. "I will not tell you my time right now so, go to your mark!" At that, all of them clamoured for a spot on the 400m track. Without warning or count down I fired the starting gun. I see most of them drop but one runs, quickly followed by two others, then the last two. While they run I hear someone step up next to me, I don't turn as I watch the recruits run. "Hey Izu."

"Hey, Hitoshi. Any news?"

"I got a location, it was checked. Nothing."

Ok, tell Shoto."

"Yep," he started to leave, "good luck with the new recruits."

"Thanks, Whisper." I laugh, I see the first finish, '18 seconds, impressive.' the rest follow, the slowest time being 1 minute and 56 seconds. I go up to them and place a number on them according to their placement. "Ok, the minimum you need to pass the 100m is 9 seconds. No. 1 you're up first." he steps to the start. This time I do count down and he runs. 7.3s 'impressive again.' No. 2 goes next, he gets 8.1s. 'Not too bad.' No. 3, 7.5s. No. 4 7.7s. No. 5, 8.3s. "Not bad, none of you beat my time though. My time is 6.6s." all of them are shocked, of course. "Next! Follow." I led them to the gun range. "Guns. How you are. One by one. No. 1, show me what you've got." he steps forward and takes the gun tentatively. "I don't know how to use this. I've never even held one before." He informs me. 'His voice is familiar...'
