"Seniors I would just like to remind you all that we will be having two very important guest speakers at our school tomorrow and I expect every single one of you there. Thank you, and have a wonderful day," Mr. Heath, our principle, announced through the speakers. Felix groaned as we walked towards his locker. "I don't understand what the big fuss is all about with these guest speakers" he exclaimed as he put in his combination. I shrugged. "Well they're CEO's and alumni" I exclaimed, "one of them is for sure Ace Brooks."
My mind traveled back to when I had met Ace. He was as cocky or even worse then Kayden. And before you ask, no Kayden is not a billionaire. Only Ace is, but that's because Ace worked his way to where he is now. After he graduated college at just 20 he opened his own hotel business and now bam! He's one of the wealthiest and youngest CEO's in the U.S. That doesn't mean Kayden and his family don't have money. Trust me, they do and a great amount too, but it's not close to Ace's fortune.
"Are you serious?" Felix asked flabbergasted. I nodded. "Yeah, I'm not sure who the other one is but I know it's a girl. Melissa and Jenna were talking about it," I said talking about our two secretary's who were always gossiping. Felix just sigh. "Well then tomorrow should be interesting" he sarcastically remarked. I chuckled and followed him out of the school . He walked me towards my car. "I'll see you later baby doll" he said and then he leaned down and kissed my cheek before walking away.
I frowned a bit and then noticed that Kayden was staring at us from across the parking lot, along with everyone else that had been outside. My cheeks began to heat up so I immediately stepped into my car and sped off. As I drove home I began to feel something crawling up my throat and I immediately stopped knowing what was coming. I pulled over to the side of the rode and ran out to throw out.
Now that was probably a scene. A girl running to puke in the middle of the road. What a wonderful view to the people who were driving. As I continued to throw out what I had eaten for lunch I felt someone's hands pulling my hair back and rubbing my back.
Now, if I wouldn't have been puking my guts out I would have screamed but at this moment I didn't care. Once I was done I wiped my mouth and groaned at the horrible taste in my mouth. "Here," a feminine voice said making me turn around. In front of me stood a girl in maybe her early 20's. She had long brown hair and brown eyes that held worry in them. She was holding out a water bottle to me and a piece of gum.
I gladly took them from her not even thinking about the fact that she could have done something to them, I just needed to make the taste of throw up from my mouth. After I rinsed my mouth and began chewing in the piece of gum I turned back to the girl. "Uh thanks" I mumbled. She smiled and nodded. "No problem but are you okay?" She asked frowning. I gave her a small smile and nodded. "Yeah, just a bit sick is all," I said. I was not about to tell this stranger I was pregnant. I hadn't even told my fucking parents yet.
"Alright-" she was about to say something when her phone rang. "What Kenny?" She asked through the phone. While she talked I looked at her. Not in the creepy way but in the observing way. She wore some white skinny jeans with a grey shirt and a jean button up shirt. She had jewelry around her neck and arms that looked more expensive then my car. "Sorry," she said turning to look at me. I just awkwardly smiled. Then she laughed.
What the actual fuck.
"Oh my gosh we must look so fucking weird standing in the side of the road chitchatting" she said laughing. I realized that she was probably right and began laughing with her. Once are laughter died down she looked at me smiling. "Oh I haven't laughed like that in so long" she exclaimed before realizing something. "I'm sorry once again I haven't introduced myself properly, my names Arabella Porter" she said stretching her hand towards me. I took it before saying, "Nice to meet you, my names Tessa Hale."
She smiled once again. "Nice to meet you Tessa. Now I may come off as rude but I really have to go. I hope you feel better and hopefully we see each other again, as creepy as this sound, you kinda remind me of myself when I was your age even though we just met" she exclaimed. I chuckled. "Alright well it was nice meeting you too Arabella. And thanks for helping me when I was well you know" I said. She smiled one last time before waving goodbye and walking to a very expensive car might I add. I followed and climbed into my car before driving off.
As I once again continued to drive home I couldn't shake the feeling I had heard that name before.
----
When I finally arrived home it had begun to rain. I ran into my house not wanting to get wet and actually get sick, I had prom to worry about. "Mom, dad! I'm home" I called. No response. I walked towards the kitchen and saw a note taped on the fridge.'Darling sorry we had to leave for a quick business trip!
Don't worry we'll be here in time for prom and graduation!
We love you and we left you the credit cards in the usual place.
Take care'- Love Mom &' DadI sigh and throw the note away. I decide that I want Chinese take out so I call them and ordered before taking a seat on the couch. I was turning on Netflix when the door bell rings. I groaned. I'm pretty sure it was stupid Felix since I had texted and asked him to come over.
Sadly, I was wrong.
The person at the door was not who I was expecting, and it surer as hell wasn't someone I wanted to be here. I looked at the boy standing in front of me. His brown hair which was usually styled up fell onto his face dripping water and covering the gorgeous light brown eyes I had fallen in love with. "Hey Tess, umm can we talk?" Kayden asked as he stood there shivering outside my front door.

Tun tun tun!Jk I'm not ending it here, it is not time for cliff hangers yet!
-----
"Kayden?! What are you doing here?" I asked aghast. He gave me a small smile. "Look I really need to talk to you but can I please come in before I get pneumonia?" He asked. My eyes widened but I let him in and shut the door behind him. "Thanks" he mumbled rubbing his hands together. I stared at him and the way his white T-shirt clung to his body showing off his wonderful body. I heard him cough awkwardly which made me get out of my faze and realize he was standing there, water dripping onto our hard wood floor. "Shit, here let me get you a towel so you can dry off and get you some clothes" I mumbled before running up the steps. I could here his footsteps behind me making me tense but continued walking.
I opened the bathroom door before walking in. I grabbed two towels and turned around just to crash into a very wet body. As cliche as this sounds I felt sparks run up my body as his arms wrapped around me stopping me from falling. We stood there for a while until I everything that happened in the last few months came running back to me and I pulled away. "Uh here, I'll go get you some clothes" I said before side stepping him and walking away.
'Tessa you're so stupid sometimes' I thought as I walked into my brother, Kyle's, room. Kyle was already off to college working on his engineering degree. His stuff were still here though for when he came down for break. I pulled out some grey sweats and a black T-shirt before walking back towards the bathroom where Kayden stood. In a freaking towel. And. Fucking. Shirtless.
I avoided eye contact with him and handed him the clothes. "Here, theses are Kyle's" I said. He gave me a grateful smile which I ignored. "I'll be downstairs" I said before walking downstairs. Seconds later I heard him following me and I sigh before turning to face him. "Okay Brooks. Talk. Why are you here?"
