I was putting dirty towels away and I swipe my card "Miss me? of course, you did" Troy said grabbing his card "hey, you ever been on a golf course?" he asked me "I'm kinda a member here Troy not you and I don't play golf," I told him as he swiped his card "who said anything about golf?" he asked walking away

Outside

Troy had set up a picnic for us "are you sure it's okay for us to be out here?" I asked him "yeah unless the jackrabbits turn us in," he told me "so how's kitchen duty?" I asked him "oh, you know, the team that washes dishes together, wins together," he told me as he holds out a spoon of food for me I eat it "Gabby and her mom have been going on about summer jobs on college applications," I said "all part of the frightening concept called "our future" " he said, "are you worried?" I asked getting closer to him "hey, college costs a fortune, my parents, are saving pennies unlike the people at this place" he told me "you're a cinch for a scholarship" I told him "I'm only as good as whatever happens next season. It's... I always liked the idea of being in charge of my future until it actually started happening" he told me "so, let's just think about right now because I've never been in one place for an entire summer, and this means a lot to me, especially being here with..." I said "such an outstanding peanut-butter and-jelly-sandwich maker like me?" Troy said interrupting me in my pause "I want to remember this summer, Troy" I told him I look down and saw grapes and got an idea I grabbed on "here, catch" I told Troy scooting away from him "oh, I love this game" He told me "ready?" I asked "go," he told me and he caught it "beautiful," I told him "yes," he said rolling on to his back "oh your turn," he said getting back up I was thinking that he was going to throw one but instead, he throws three "you didn't catch a single one of them," he said running off "you.." I said chasing after him "that was so bad" he said rolling down the hill I giggled at him

"oh no way" Troy said as I jumped on his back laughing I was on the ground giggling as Troy crawled to me giggling as well he helped me up we started to lean in to kiss when the sprinklers started "no way!" troy said, "may I have this dance?" Troy asked bowing "why, of course, you may," I said curtsying "let's go then," He said we started to dance around "you are gonna get so wet!" Troy said grabbing my hand as we ran threw the sprinklers "yeah!" Troy yelled running I laughed running after him then Mr. Fulton came

"First a break-time infraction, now frolicking on the golf course we are not off to an auspicious start, are we, Miss Roberson?" Mr. Fulton asked me "actually, Mr. Fulton, this was my idea, so she's..." Troy said trying to take the blame "how gallant, but irrelevant we won't allow this to happen again will we?" Mr. Fulton asked us both me and Troy shook our heads no "Mr. Fulton?" I called out before he could walk away "yes Miss Roberson?" he said to me "I'm very sorry for this and the break infraction I will try to be better" I told him "well thank you for that Miss Roberson I know that you are staying here with the Evans family so I do hope that you will stick to your word" He said walking away

The next morning

Me, Troy and Gabriella walked into the kitchen "good morning, everybody" Troy said "good morning" some people said "smells good. that smells good" Troy said Gabby stays behind to talk to Martha as me and Troy clock in we both hear music so we go to check what it was

"yeah you are the music in me" Kelsi sang "sounding good, Kels" I told her as me and Troy walked in "thanks actually, I need to go get ready for the ladies' luncheon won't exactly be rocking out" Kelsi explained "you know I am so excited about the club's talent show I mean, the employees get to do a number, and I have ideas for everyone you guys can sing the lead, and maybe Zeke and Chad can do backup, and everyone can dance" Kelsi said getting excited as she explained "Big timeout on that one My singing career began and ended with the east High Winter Musical I'm just here to make a check and sneak in the pool after work that's... that's really it" Troy said walking to the end of the piano "what was that you were playing a minute ago?" I asked her "oh it's... It's nothing. It's just nothing" she said trying to put the song away "what's this," I said grabbing the music "well, I was thinking if you'd do the show that I wanted to be ready and I wrote this for you guys" Kelsi explained to us I laid the music out "come on go," I told her

"oh, I love that song," I said "great job, Kels," Troy told her "oh, I've got the talent show sign-up sheet right here are you in?" I turned around "you forgot something," Troy told me "what?"
