" Are you sure this is gonna work?" Kole nervously asked. It wasn't like he didn't trust Stephanie, she was the love of his life, he with all his heart knew that she is trustworthy and more. But just thinking about escaping from a hospital made him feel uneasy. What if they get caught? What if they have virus who kills and they infect other innocent people? Imagine what people would say about them.

" Kole, please, trust me. I've been in this hospital way too many times." Stephanie kissed his left cheek, " This has to work. There's no other way. It has to."

Kole didn't say anything just stared deep into her eyes. They could get caught, and doctors could separate them for the last three days they have. That was a big risk , especially if they wanted to be together .

" What are we going to do when we get out ? Do you have a plan for that also ?"

Stephanie rolled her eyes, " Kole, let's just go. We don't have much time, and I don't mean it just tonight. In general. It's already past midnight and the three day countdown starts now." She grabbed his hand, " Please Kole, if you don't come with me I'll have to go by myself, and I don't want that, please don't let this be our last kiss, right here - in the hospital ."

Who was Kole kidding, he knew right from the start that he would go with her, and he didn't really care if the virus would spread or infect others, Stephanie was the most important person in his life. He can't let her go alone, he can't be without her.

" Okay, let me grab my phone quick." he let go of her hand and Stephanie immediately stopped him.

" No, I have mine you don't need it."

" But, "

" Please, " she interrupted him, giving him the eye.

Kole nodded and squeezed her hand. The only reason he gave in was because his phone was in his pocket already but she didn't know that . They both walked downstairs and didn't spy anyone , not a single one ,  which was a bit odd but then again, it was past midnight .
Made it downstairs easily and that's where they could have faced some difficulties, but then again, they didn't . They walked past the front desk and made it outside.

Stephanie started screaming from excitement so loud Kole joined her and then put his lips against hers, letting her know she's too loud and they could still get caught. But at least they looked like normal people now, they were dressed in their clothes that family members brought them. Two people who were visiting family members in the hospital , but in reality they were the escapees .

After they had their little moment, they got into the taxi and made it to 5 star, very  fancy,  Los Angeles hotel. Girl who worked at the desk , apparently named Lydia , did look at them weird seeing as it was almost 3 in the morning, but it wasn't her place to ask so she just gave them the room key and offered some snacks which they declined because they were too exhausted .

" See I told you we would make it ." Stephanie undressed and got under the covers. Her little body shivering . They didn't even take a shower , too many emotions and lack of energy.

" I know, I did trust you, I was just, you know, analysing everything ," Kole took off his red shirt and then jeans, " Are you cold?"

" No no," she gave him a reassuring smile, " I just get the shivers , like I can't lie, I was nervous, and my body was tense, now I'm relaxed and it's my body telling me that's everything is fine ." she explained and Kole got in bed next to her. She found peace and assurance in his body.

" We need to do shopping tomorrow. One of the last shoppings." although it was a sad thought to realise, Kole smiled to himself, he felt so happy in the moment, that even the thought of doing the last shopping made him smile.

" What shopping baby?" Stephanie put her arms around his waist and tried to pull him closer.

" We need to buy new clothes, we can buy snacks, a lot of snacks, come back to this hotel and watch a good movie, or a bad one, doesn't really matter." His fingers started playing with Steph's hair, " We can just buy anything you want. What do you want Stephanie?"

" Well, as in for tomorrow, first I want to wake up, shower, order breakfast. If possible everything on the menu. " her comment made Kole chuckle, " then we can go shopping for some clothes and for evening plans, well , we'll have to think of something , " Stephanie smirked , Kole rolled his eyes but in a playful way.

" We will do anything you want baby girl." he kissed her forehead making Steph's eyes shut close. She felt herself slowly drifting off, she wasn't really fighting back, we still have three days, three days with him and me, and us together, she thought.

"Isn't it weird? " Stephanie suddenly asked , surprising Kole unexpectedly. He thought she was asleep .

"What is weird baby ?" he was close to falling asleep as well .

" No one was downstairs , like ," she paused and licked her lips , " no one was sitting at the desk , no security or anything , I've been there multiple times , even stayed overnight , and when I was walking ar- "

" wait ," kole stopped her and chuckled , " you walked around the hospital at night ?"

Stephanie laughed with him " mhm"

" my brave girl" he kissed her head .

" but why i-"

" sleep Stephanie. Sleep. " his lips rested on her forehead and they both drifted off .
Stephanie thought she was dreaming about Kole but she wasn't sure . Kole didn't dream about anything , his body was too tired .
