15. Emotions

Lloyd's POV

Immediately when I started to scream he covered my mouth with one hand and with two of his other hands he covers his ears.

"How can a little child like you scream like that?"

When I stop he puts his hand away and I just look at him crying and cuddle with the pillow crawling back. He looks at me for a moment and sits down on the couch next to me, even though I just look at him scared and crawl away.

"I'm sorry for scaring you..."

My father reaches out one hand to me, but really gentle and slowly, I look at his hand and then at him. He just looks at me while holding out his hand to me. I look at his hand for a moment, I put the pillow I hugged the whole time slowly away and crawl over to his hand, I look at it for another moment and then lay my hand on his. It's like 10 times bigger than mine and kinda cold. I look at him still holding his hand, I notice his expression, he just stares at his and my hand. For a moment it's completely silent. He reaches with another hand to me.

"Can I...?"

I look at him and see that he's still looking at our hands, I nod. He picks me carefully up and sits me down on his lap. We just sit there, he's holding me while I just sit on his lap and look up to him.

//How is he always there when I'm alone...//

"I...wanted to ask you how it comes that you always appear when I'm alone...?"

"I'm watching you."

I look surprised up to him. He just strokes over my head with his third hand while still holding me with his two other arms.

"Since the silent one and the green Ninja failed to protect you I'm doing it. Watching over you, making sure you're alright. Right now she's fighting along with the villain against those heroes. And I'm watching you."

I looked up to him and looked away when he started to talk about 'the silent one'.

"You don't need to call her that. I know that she's Harumi."

I notice that his eyes wide and he looks down at me. I look up to him with tears in my eyes.

"Did you sent her after me to spy on me and my uncle? Did you ordered her to fake her feelings so I fall in love with her?"

"What?? How do you come to this idea??"

I look to the side. "Since Wu was the guardian...I thought you ordered Harumi to come into my life like that..."

"I would never do something like that. Yes, I said she should stay close to you but only to take care of you and make sure nothing happens. But I can't tell you if her feelings for you are real, I stay out of your private life. I mean yes I watch over you, but I don't snoop around, I would rather hear from you about your friends and life than finding it out by snooping."

He wipes my tears away while I just look at him.

"Really...?"

"Really."

I look at him for a while, then cuddle a bit to him and just hold his hand. I noticed his surprised expression but just cuddle more to him.

"What do you want to know?"

"Everything."

I start to tell him about my life in the orphanage, how I met my friends in school, how I entered the kendo club and got trained to fight by Wu. I told him about my friends and everything else. Yes, normally I wouldn't cuddle with anybody and just telling things about me, but this situation just feels like something I never had. It's so warm, even though his body is pretty cold it's still somehow warm, comfortable and family-like. I think it just has to do with me being a child again. I was always pretty sad about not knowing my parents, but I never let anybody see, I tried to act happy. It was hard. But now that he's here it kind of feels good. Yes, he's attacking our city and for everybody else is it so easy to say that he's the evil mastermind and that he could never be good. Nobody will ever understand my point of view. As his son.

"So you got turned into a child when you protected your friend. Originally I told them to not attack you. But luckily it's nothing too bad. It kinda...feels good to see you like this. It may be awful for you but for me, it's like...at least seeing a bit of your life."

He smiles slightly and I just look at him with big eyes. He sees it just like me. I smile also and just want to say something when we start to hear a beep sound. He keeps stroking through my hair and get's something out of his pocket.

"What do you want?"

I look at him and when I see his eyes turning red he stands up, I fall on the ground and look shocked up to him.

"You have a villain, a sentimonster, the skullkin army, and your own powers but they're still winning?? The green Ninja isn't even there what kind of weaklings are you??? Wait until I get you!!!"

He puts this thing away and knocks the table in front of him over. He destroys the table completely while I just sit on the ground, shivering and looking at him scared. He looks at me, with a raging expression and red glowing eyes, tears are rolling down my face and I look at him scared. When he sees me he immediately calms down, he looks around and looks at the pieces of the table laying around everywhere, he looks one more time to me before he turns around and walks over to the window.

"Maybe it was really better that I wasn't part of your life. The evil runs through my veins. But I accepted the fact that you won't be like me. And that's good." He jumps out of the window and just when he left someone opens the door and storms inside.

"Lloyd!!!"

Wu comes in and looks shocked at the destroyed table, he walks over to the table and sees me sitting in front of the couch on the ground, cowed and just shivering and crying of fear. When I see him and I reach with my shaking arms to him and sob strong. He immediately picks me up and holds me on his arm while I just cry loud and clinch with my hands into his clothes.

"Psst...it's ok Lloyd...everything is ok..."
