Third Person POV- Snow and Fang

(I don't remember how this goes so it might be a little more mushy than it was in the movie)

"They've come for me." Wei Fang said as the men dressed in black jumped into the house of Te looking for the sword of destiny.

"I've come for you." Snow Vase said with her hand on the latch about to let him out. "They leave destruction, death in their wake. Do you still stand with them?" She asked, almost pleading he would say no. "Do you still stand with them?"

"Look out." Wei Fang said But Mantis, Hades Dai's best warrior, grabbed Snow Vase.

"Where's the sword?" She asked holding a blade to Snow's throat.

"He does not know." Snow growled jerking around.

"The sword is in the east courtyard." Wei Fang said and Mantis jumped away, Jade Fan, who had just run in jumped after her.

"You saved my life." Snow Vase said looking back at the caged boy.

"I spoke before I thought." He countered

"Then words came from the heart." Snow said plasing her hand over Wei Fang's. "Your mother... tell me of her." She asked and Fang pulled his hand away.

"Why?"

"What was she like?"

"I have no mother." Fang said bitterly. "I was raised by Iron Crow of West Lotus. He taught me everything I know, as your teacher taught you. He gave me a sense of purpose." He said but Snow sighed.

"Your mother was a concubine, or so you've been told." She said.

"How do you-"

"I know your past." Snow cut him off.

"Who told you this?" Fang asked defensive.

"Your real mother was known as Han Mei. A swordswoman of great renown. A woman who had felt and brought immeasurable pain." Snow said sitting down leaning against the bars that held Wei Fang. "In her womb, she carried you, the legacy from her last night with the man she loved. She gave birth to you in a cold winter, alone. Great is the joy of a child, greater still, the value of a boy."

Fang drew closer to Snow Vase in pain and wonder about his real mother. "While she slept, a concubine who had given birth to a daughter there days before... switched her worthless girl for you... hoping it would please her master if she presented him with a son.

"When Han Mei realized what had been done... she meant to abandon the girl. But her heart refused. So she took me with her. She tried to wash from her skin the blood she had shed. But your mother could not be rid of the pain she had caused in her life. She raised me as her own. Trained me in the Iron Way." Snow finished and looked over at him.

"The woman... My mother...Did she look for me?" Fang asked with a shaky voice

"Every minute of every day she searched." Snow looked straight into Wei Fang's eyes. "She learned the concubine had given you to West Lotus to save her own life. She challenged Hades Dai for your freedom. She showed me your birthmark and said, "'You must find him. If he is a good man, stand beside him. If he has become a poison dragon... kill him.'" Your mother, my teacher, died trying to find you. That is our story, yours and mine." Snow said.

Snow had to go talk to Shu Lien leaving Wei Fang with his thoughts until of course the next night when Mantis payed him another visit.

"You betrayed Hades Dai, boy. Is she worth your life? And that of your teacher? Bring Hades Dai the sword or your Master, Iron Crow, dies. Even now, he rides to meet you and secure the sword."

(I don't remember how he got that info so let's just say Mantis told him.)

"Go!" Snow told him when she made up her mind about what to do.

"I cannot leave without the sword." Wei Fang said as Snow let him out of his cage. "You know this."

"You will be killed if you take it." She interrupted him.

"I will be killed if I don't."

"Then go!" Snow said hoping her voice wouldn't crack. "Far from here, far from West Lotus Temple. I fulfilled my promise to your mother. Now you must promise me to never return." Snow said with a breaking heart.

"I promise." He said with much hurt in his own voice.
