Chapter Six I a Big Boy

August 21

"Harry time to get ready for school." Liam said knocking on Harry's door, walking in to make sure Harry actually gets out of bed, he does, and Liam lays the clothes out in Harry's bed, "Get changed Munchkin, "Okay." Harry mumbles sleepily.

Liam walks to Louis' door, "Lou time to get up." He said knocking, the door opened to reveal a Louis, completely dressed in his uniform, hair already combed, and backpack on his back to bring to the living room, by the door so it doesn't get forgotten.

"Who you trying to impress?" Liam asked, "I made a friend named Jay yesterday, and I'm trying to make it so my teacher doesn't under- estimate me." Louis said, "What do you mean under- estimate you?" Liam asked, "She already tagged be as the 'Problem Child', I'm hungry." Louis said, "What do you mean your the 'Problem Child'" Liam asked, "Yesterday I turned in my test after only the first few minutes, I am almost one hundred percent sure that I got a hundred and four, the bonus was easy. Can we go eat?" Louis said, "Yeah sure." Liam said, walking to Harry's room one more time to bring him down stairs.

Soon Liam, Louis, and Harry all pile into Liam's mini van, and they drive to school.

"Remember to pick your brother up from pre- school." Liam shouted as Louis got out of the car, a bunch of people thought that a high- school kid was going to be getting out of the car, all were surprised when a grade five got out, "Yeah, don't forget to pick me up." Harry yelled, " Walk home tonight, I will tell the pre- school you'll be picking him up." Liam said, "Okay, bye Dad, bye Harry." Louis said, trying to go talk to Jay, "Bye- bye Louis, I love you." Harry screeched, "Goodbye." Louis said turning around and going to the grade five area seeing that Jay wasn't here yet, doesn't surprise Louis because there's still twenty minutes until the bell rings signaling being tardy.

"Hey Louis." A girl in his class said, "Hello Eleanor." Louis blushed, "Did you understand the homework assignment?" She asked, "Yeah, need help explaining it to you?" Louis asked, "Yes please." She said, they got their homework out of their backpacks, and Louis explained the entire lesson.

"Thanks, you explain it a lot better than Mrs. Mia, I don't like her." Eleanor said, "I don't either." Louis said, "I heard what she said to you yesterday, that was kinda rude of her." she said, "Yeah, we get assigned seats today, would you be disguised if we sat beside each other?" Louis asked, "No I wouldn't be disguised, can I come up with a nick name for you?" Eleanor asked, "Sure." Louis said, "Ok, what's your full name?" Eleanor asked, "Louis William Payne- Malik." Louis said, "Well, Lou would be over used, hum, what about L?" Eleanor asked, "Yeah, can I come up with one for you?" Louis asked, "Sure." she said, "What's your full name." Louis asked "Eleanor Jane Calder." Eleanor said, "Well El is out, maybe Ellie?" Louis suggested, "Okay." Ellie blushed.

"That's the bell." Louis and Ellie said at the same time.

"Okay Harry, Louis will come after school and you will walk home with him." Liam said to Harry, "I know Daddy, I a big boy, I got told that already, I'll be fine, and ne talking to strangers." Harry said, Liam laughed, "That's right no talking to strangers." Liam laughed.

"Hello, my name's Callie." A little girl said to Harry, "I'm Harry, wanna be friends?" He asked, "Okay, that sounds fun." Callie said, "Wanna play with blocks with me?" Harry asked, "Yay, who's older? Me or you?" Callie asked, "I'm older because boys are always older." Harry said, "Are we dating?" Callie asked, "Sure, that sounds fun." Harry said, "Dating people share their food, did you bring lunch, or are you getting lunch from the lunsh room" Callie asked, "From the lunch room, but my Daddy made me something for snack." Harry said.

"Yummy, what'd he make?" Callie asked, "Uh, fruit snacks." Harry said, "He didn't make fruit snacks, he bought them from the store." She stated, "Well, I don't know, I just know that fruit snacks are yummy." Harry said, "They are, for snack, my mommy made me a cupcake." Callie told Harry, "I'll share my fruit snacks, if you share you cupcake." Harry said, "Yes." she noded her head.

The entire day went like that.

"Does anyone know how to solve two plus H equals thirteen?" Mrs. Mia asked, Louis and Eleanor both raised their hands, they we the only ones, "Eleanor, how do you solve?" Mrs. Mia asked, upset that only two kids were paying attention, "You subtract two from each side, that makes zero plus H equals eleven, therefore H equals eleven." Eleanor said, "Good job." Mrs. Mia sighed.

The bell rang, "Okay kids you homework is page five, one through fifteen all of them, now get out your English." Mrs. Mia said, Louis groaned, English being his worst class, he's only getting an A in it.

"The word, brothers, if your talking about something belonging to two of your brothers, where would your apostrophe go?" Mrs. Mia asked, Louis and Eleanor again were the only ones to raise their hands, "Louis." Mrs. Mia said, "The apostrophe would go after the 's', if you were talking about something belonging to on;y one brother the apostrophe would go in between the last 'r' and the 's'." Louis said with a smile, "Louis, I wasn't asking where the apostrophe would go for only one brother's belonging." Mrs. Mia was getting annoyed with Louis and Eleanor knowing all the answers.

"I know you weren't asking that, I just wanted you to be sure you knew, you taught us the wrong way yesterday." Louis said, the kids laughed, they all know the answers, they also know that teacher taught the lesson wrong, they just don't want the embarrassment of being wrong.

"Louis, I know the answers, I have the book that says all the answers." Mrs. Mia said, "Does it tell you how to teach, if it does, its been teaching it wrong, well that is if your listening to it, if you not, I think you need to go back to grade four." Louis said, "I don't think I taught the lesson wrong yesterday. Now Louis unless you want to go to the principal's office, I suggest that you stop talking unless I call on you." She said, "You did call on me, you've never said to stop talking." Louis said with a slight smirk, considering all the students were laughing, "Louis, you can either be quiet, of go to the office." Mrs. Mia said losing her patience, "If I go to office, will the lesson be taught right?" Louis faked asked, "Louis William Payne- Makik, stop talking, your interrupting this lesson." The teacher said.

"Actually you're wrong, you should've said, interrupting this - badly taught- lesson." Louis said, the teacher huffed in annoyance and went back to teaching.

Bell rang, lunch.

Louis walked out of school, no homework in his backpack, its not that he didn't feel like doing it, he just finished it all.

"Man the teacher was so mad at me." Louis said to Jay as they walked to the other school, Jay's little sister, April, came running into him, "Hi Jay, I forgot why I liked school, who's this?" She asked, "This is Louis, he and his little brother walks home with us, he's a grade above you." Jay said, soon Louis was back with his little brother.

"Jay this is my little brother, Harry. Harry this is one of my friends, Jay." Louis said, "Nice to meet you, this is my little sister, April." Jay said, soon the four of them were walking home.
