                            | Jaden's POV |
I felt awful for her. She seemed so strong, so well at holding herself together. But she was clearly broken.
"I'm really sorry Graci. You are so strong." I put my hand over hers.
She sniffled, I wanted so badly to hug her. To help her. To be her strong person.
"Can I give you a hug?" She smiled and nodded.
I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her in, making sure she was ok.
"Thank you for listening Jay." I felt her cling to me, I knew neither of us wanted to let go.
"I know we just met, but I'm here for you. 100%." I cupped her face, causing her smile to widen. Gosh she was cute.
"I trust you Jay. I really do." I smiled at her.
"Let's go, c'mon." I grabbed her hand, walking towards the bonfire.
Her hair blew in the wind. Her smile. Wow. Her strength to keep going everyday when her family was the way it was. Wow. Amazing.

                        | Gracelynn's POV |
I needed to make sure he was good. I liked him. A lot. But I couldn't just date him right away. No. He gave me his snap and we snapped back and forth for the next two weeks. We saw each other around camp. Until one day. He told me he just wanted to be friends. And that's when he started talking to Haley Mae. The most gorgeous human ever. I cried for a week straight in the cabin. Lila would hold me. The four other girls in our cabin would always make me feel better but I wanted Jaden.
One Friday, the seniors at camp were throwing a party in the woods at night. So Lila and I planned to go. I put on white jean shorts and a tube top. I wore my nike airs and curled my hair. Lila wore black jean shorts and a green shirt with spaghetti straps. We did our makeup and were ready to go.
We snuck away to the woods. I saw Jaden. I wanted to make him jealous. He had been hanging with that girl a lot lately. She was gorgeous. But I wanted him. So I sashayed my way over to Josh. One of Jaden's best friends. I pulled him to the "dance floor" and started swaying my hips.
"Damn." Josh places his hands around my hips, we swayed to the music.
I saw Jaden scowling at us. He knew what I was doing. I was happy. But if he wouldn't stop us yet, then I had to do more.
"Kiss me." I stared at Josh.
He smirked, grabbing me, pulling me in, his warm lips touching mine. I kissed back. It was nice, but it wasn't Jaden.
"Dude, back off." Jaden pushed Josh away, Josh laughing.
"What was that?" I walked away, proud of what I had done.

                          | Jaden's POV |
She flipped that hair and swung those hips. It wasn't fair. I grabbed her belt loop, swinging her to face me.
"Grace please." She bit her lip, smirking.
"I thought we were just friends." My face dropped, remembering what I had said just a few days ago.
"I know what I said. But I regret that." Haley tapped my shoulder, then rapped her arms around me. I didn't even like her. I just needed to get my mind off of Gracelynn. The girl I wanted.
"I'm done with this." She ran away, running fast from the woods. I wanted to chase her but I couldn't.
