This story is about four kids living hard lives from gangs, drugs, and the struggle, but one of their lives change while the others stay the same
Merlin pov~ Me and Zelda were in line at lunch and went to sit with Shawn, Tionne, and our other friends.
"Where's Lisa?" I asked.
"Sitting with Zack and all them lame ass people" Jason said.

I looked over at her and she actually looked happy with them.
I introduced all my friends to Zelda, except Lisa cause she always around them wanna be rich folks, but I can't talk my family broke as fuck, but imma keep my eye on her.
"It's crazy how we all ride the same bus" Zelda smirked.
"Yeah, we all stay in South Central" Tionne said.
I looked at the students coming in the cafeteria cause I heard some familiar voices. I finally seen their faces, revealing Trey and Jimmy who were arguing in the line. I stood up and ran over there.
"You ain't gone do shit loc" Trey said.
"Don't get smoked loc, this ain't the detention center"
"Shit it could be" I said standing next to Trey.
"Nigga I'm glad you here, Imma get yo ass smoked"
"Jimmy get to the back of the line, Trey face forward, and Merlin go finish eating" The teacher demanded.
Me and Trey hand pound each other before doing what the teacher told us to do. I sat back at the table with everybody.
"Who was that?" Shawn asked
"A homeboy from the detention center"
"I didn't even know Trey went here" Zelda said.
"Me either, I didn't know Jimmy did too"
"Jimmy been going here" Tionne looked at me.
"He did?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yeah, honestly I been waiting for y'all to meet each other, but I guess I'm too late" Tionne smirked.
"Yeah I beat his ass while I was locked up" I said.
"You know that dude crazy right?" Jason looked at me.
"Fuck that nigga, I'm down for whatever"
"I'm always gone be down to ride for you" Zelda smirked and touched my hand.
"Awwww" Tionne admired.
Lisa pov~ I was sitting with my friends and they seen Merlin and some guys getting into it about something.
"Why are you friends with him again?" Kelly asked me.
"I don't know, I just live close to them" I looked down.
"You know my dad can help your dad with a job" Zack said.
"Really!?" I smiled.
"Yeah my dad is a stock broker"
"Thank you so much" I said.
Shawn pov~ I walked in the trailer park and threw my backpack on the floor and sat on the couch and took a nap.
I woke up to my parents arguing like always.
"Can you both please shut up"
They ignored me and kept arguing. I grabbed some clothes and my backpack, and just walked out the door to Merlins house.
Merlin pov~ I was sitting on the porch talking to Zelda on the phone, when I seen Shawn walking my way.
"Hold up Z, Imma call you back"
When ended the call and I walked towards Shawn.
"They're arguing?" I asked
He nodded.
"Come on man" I said opening the door.
He fell asleep on the couch, while I talked to Zelda on the phone outside. Lisa walked outside all happy. I told Zelda I was gonna see her tomorrow cause Lisa was walking over.
"Hey Merlin" She greeted.
"Wassup" I replied.
"A lot"
"Like what?"
"My dad gotta new job" She smiled.
"Oh that's cool" I said.
"Wassup Romeo!!" Pac yelled.
I ain't speak to him since I got out of the detention center.
"Go check on Shawn" I told Lisa.
"Oh I didn't know he was here" She said walking inside.
I walked over to Pac.
"What?"
"Look lil homie, I wanted to apologize to ya because I know you was in the detention center and shit, but here's ya cut, I gotta bounce and get this money" Pac said.
Pac handed me a wad of cash and it was $1,000.
"Shit" I said silent to myself.
I put the money in my pocket and went back into the house.
Lisa was sitting in the chair, while Shawn was still sleep.
"So you really have a girlfriend" Lisa looked at me.
"Yea, did she call?" I asked
"No, but you knew her from the detention center?"
"Yea"
"Oh cool, but I gotta go see you tomorrow" Lisa said walking out.
I watched Lisa walk out and I started to see a new person appear, like it's not her anymore. Shawn woke up and we ate pizza and watched wwf.
