This story is about four kids living hard lives from gangs, drugs, and the struggle, but one of their lives change while the others stay the same
Lisa pov~ Me, Tionne, and Shawn were walking to my house, so we can continue our conversation about Merlin.
"He just need to stay away from Pac and E, he'll probably be okay" I said.
"That's not gonna be easy, he literally live next door to them" Shawn replied.
"And everybody knows he doesn't listen to anybody" Tionne added.
"Damn how can we stop him from doing dumb stuff?" I asked myself.
Merlin pov~ I was laying in my bunk, thinking about what imma do when I get out next month, I'm most definitely going to get a fat burger or two.
"You know you gone get killed when you get out right" Q my cell mate said.
"Yeah so what, I beat that nigga ass now he wanna be a bitch and call his BITCH ASS DADDY!!" I spat hard.
He said nothing.
The guards open our cells to line us up and go to class. We all entered our classes and to my surprise we had girls in our classes, thought it would be full of bitch ass niggas. I sat next to this pretty ass dark skinned girl.

"Damn you don't look like the type to be in here" I looked at her.
"Well I punch a bitch with some brass knuckles, so I guess I am the type"
"Brass Knuckles? My hands made out of those" I joked.
She laughed.
"Oh you funny" She smirked.
"Merlin and Zelda, please be quiet" the teacher said.
"So your name Zelda" I smirked.
"And yours Merlin"
"Like the magician" we both said at the same time.
My new homeboy Trey sat in front of me.
"So when you get out" I asked.
" In three weeks, but I been here for 2 months"
"Zelda a real fighter too fool" Trey said.
"You already know, but I heard the boys had full out brawl yesterday, what happen?" Zelda asked.
"Him and Jimmy had a fight and everybody jumped in on it"
"You fought Jimmy?" She looked at me.
"Yeah" I said tryna sound cool.
"Oh you bad huh?" She smiled.
"Not bad, just being me" I really got her with that one.
I could tell she like bad boys and she got the right one.
1 month later
I was finally walking out these doors and going home, I held on to two pieces of paper that had Zelda and Trey numbers and addresses on it. My mom had to work, so I walked home.
Lisa pov~ I just left my friend Kelly's house and she really live a great life, she even have the best boyfriend, she has to be the most luckiest girl ever.

I sat on my couch and watch Good Times.
After Good Times went off, I went to my room and decided to take a nap because I was bored.
Merlin pov~ I finally walked inside my house from a damn near 2 hour walk. I laid on the couch and fell right to sleep.
I got up and answered the phone.
"Hello" I answered in a tired voice.
"Hey Merlin" A familiar voice greeted.
"Wassup Zelda" I smiled on the other end of the phone.
"Nothing, I wanted to tell you that I'm going to your school now" She said.
I can tell she was smiling on the other end of the phone.
"When do you start?" I asked
"Wednesday, well tomorrow" she giggled a little.
"I can't wait to see you Merlin" She added.
"I can't wait to see you too baby" I replied
Yes, me and Zelda started dating while in the detention center.
"I'll see you tomorrow boo" She said.
"Alright"
She ended the call and I looked in the refrigerator to eat some left over pizza my mom had. I went and took a shower and change my clothes, so I could go outside. I looked out the window at Lisa's house and I see her and Tionne on the porch. I walked out the door and in a instant I seen both of them running my way.
"MERLIN!!!" They both yelled.
We all hugged and talked. But I didn't tell them I had a girlfriend.
3 hours later
My mom parked her car not knowing I was home, I just sat at the kitchen table and ate cereal. The door shut and she turned around and looked at me.
"Come here" She said.
I walked over to her and she hugged me tight.
"I'm sorry I never visit you baby" she spoke still hugging me.
"It's okay, gotta keep the bills paid right, but anyway I'm going to bed" I said walking to my room.
I really didn't have nothing to say to her, She really never did anything for me.
Next Morning
I was so ready to get to the school. Shawn, Lisa, Tionne, and I were all on the bus on our way to school, but the only person was on my mind was Zelda. We stopped at the school and I was the first one to get off the bus and run right into the school and into the cafeteria. I seen her sitting alone and say next to her.
"Hey!!!" She hugged me kissed me.
I could feel Lisa and Tionne staring at me, but I didn't care I gotta fine girlfriend. I looked at her class schedule and realized we had the same schedule.
"Follow me" I smirked and she held my hand walking pass Lisa and Tionne. RealOne💯
