Dear reader , I've never thought I would be sitting here writing a story about domestic violence. At a young age , i've been physically hurt by someone I never thought would hurt me. February 28, 2020 marks 10years since it happened , at the time I was 10 and i'll be 20 in August. Until this day , I still have images replaying in my head of what all happened that day. Even though that happened almost 10years ago , it still bothers me. I haven't brought up the conversation about what happened to me with the person that did what was done to me , but we are now back talking like nothing has happened. People always tell me " you not going to get over the situation without talking to them " or " you need to sit down with a counselor and talk to them " , but I didn't listen and till this day , nobody knows how I really feel....BUT , I hope you guys enjoy my short story..
