(Millie's POV)

-

"Okay mills, are you tired? Hungry? Thirsty?" He asked me, looking around the room, and I stood there, gripping onto my wrist, fidgeting with the black hair tie that I always wear. "I'm just tired.." I looked up at him and he gestured towards his medium sized bed. "You can sleep here. Do you get cold easily?" Finns curls bounced as he looked up at me after sitting down on his memory foam-coated mattress.

"Y-yeah.. sometimes." I tucked a piece of my brown hair behind my ear, and he stood up, "Okay, I'll be right back, just make yourself comfortable." He got up again, and went over to his walk-in closet. I walked over to his bed and sat down, taking off my shoes and hugging my knees close to my chest. "Here you go-" he brought out a large folded blanket, that had maroon fluff on the inside. "Thank you-" I got interrupted, "i-if you want you can use some of my c-clothes if those aren't comfortable enough..." he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, and I felt my cheeks heat up. What is this boy doing to me? Why am I focused on this strange feeling, when i have been through shit tonight?

I just nodded, and he seemed to understand. So he grabbed some folded up clothes on the top of his entertainment center. "I'll step out so you can change." He walked out of the door and I followed him to lock it, "thanks Finnie.." once it was locked I started to undress, realizing how much of my life is changing, what am I supposed to do? I can't just stay with Finn, his parents will be pissed. I just sighed and tried to get my mind off of the future, all I should focus on right now is tonight. I just need some sleep.

I looked in the mirror that was attached to Finns closet and I sighed at my reflection. His black t-shirt fit me like a oversized hoodie, and i wore a pair of his red gym shorts, leaving me feeling comfortable. Weird to say, but right now I could actually look in the mirror.

I walked over to the door again, and unlocked it. Finn was leaning up against the wall, staring at the tile floor, until I opened it and he entered again. "You can go ahead and sleep now if you want to." He slightly smiled, and I lazily shifted back to the comfortable bed. "Finn, I-I can sleep on the ground.." I suggested and he shook his head, "oh hell no, you've been through so much tonight, the least I can offer is to let you sleep on something warm and comfortable." He rambled on and I pulled the soft blanket over my cold legs, slightly gaining warmth.

The words that came out of my mouth next, surprised both me and Finn. "No, the least you can do is sleep up here with me and keep me warm." When I said that, it left my mouth without any stutters, and without any hesitations. I widened my eyes, regretting what I said immediately. I just stared at the gray sheet, until I felt an arm wrap around me. "Okay. I'm tired too." I looked at the source of warmth and he smiled, before reaching his arm over his pillow to turn the lamp off.

I slowly lied down, resting my pounding head on the cold pillow, and Finn followed my action. "Goodnight Mills... sleep well." I smiled, as I felt both of Finns arms wrap around my shoulders, with my face in his chest. "Goodnight Finn..." I whispered, and I felt my shaky breath hit Finns chest.

It was pitch black in the room, and all I could see is the moon shining through Finns slightly covered window. Until, the only source of light got covered by a strange figure from out of the window. "W-what the hell..." I whispered, and blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't just mistaking something there, when there actually wasn't anything.

Finn was rolled over to the other side, so I could easily sit up, to make sure there wasn't anybody outside. Should I wake Finn up?

I sat up straight, and shakily rested my hand on the already half-opened curtain, getting ready to reveal whatever I thought I saw.

Before I could even open it all the way, a very familiar face looked at me through the window, smiling evilly, letting their teeth be the only thing I see when they put on a toothy smile.

"D-dad..?"
