I looked towards the stairwell that Seto was walking towards. I followed reluctantly. I don't really...like basements. Basements don't really like me either. I could almost feel Jerome's arm around my shoulders telling me there's nothing to be afraid off and dismissing all my fears with a light kiss. Martin looked up from playing solitaire like a pro his mind reeling calculating all outcomes in seconds. Seto set the mind wipe on the table.
"Who wants to be the guinea-pig"
"I will"
I looked at Ant who stepped up shocking us. Ant wasn't very brave in these sorts of you fail you lose something valuable sort of situations.
"What do you want to forget that you won't mind losing"
"The memories of my brother beating me"
"Ant, he beat you?"
He nodded towards me and sighed. After a few trials of setting it up we finally managed to remove the memory.
"Ant did your brother ever best you?"
"No my brother is a wonderful person!"
The mind wipe clicked. Martin looked at the chip from the mind wipe and studied it. He turned it over in his long slender fingers with a slight hum.
"I've got it this chip holds there memories in check if we snap it the memory will return"
Martin snapped the chip with a bit off hesitation and Ant's eyes widened.
"Actually he did beat me"
