"Whaleeeeesssss are so biggggg" I laughed.

Me and Cam were cuddling on the couch watching a documentary about whales. I loved whales.

"They weigh like a couple tons. I bet that's how much 4 buses probably weigh. I have no clue." he said

I chuckled and stretched my arms, yawning. Cameron looked at me weirdly and laughed.

"What?"

"Your face when you yawned! Aw it was so cute"

"Shut up" I slapped his arm.

I was so happy right now. My life with Cam, my job, where I live is just perfect.

Life couldn't get any better. I did have some problems and mistakes here and there, but that didn't matter to me right now.

"Well I'm gonna go home. I have work tomorrow, I have an meeting. Night." I said getting up.

"Nooooo don't go!" He groaned. He kissed me and frowned, while I grabbed my purse.

I pulled my shoes on and waved goodbye, opening the door and walking out the building. Walking down the streets of New York I admired all the beautiful lights.

I crossed the road, the cars stopping and waiting for all the people to cross. It started raining hard and I walked a little slower, my energy running low.

I should have gotten a cab, but I left my money at home. Dumb I know.

Walking past cafes and restaurants, I smelled all the food and coffee. Delicious.

My eyes drooped, struggling to stay open. My shoes tapping on the ground as I slowly walked.

Come on don't fall asleep now. It's raining Kate.

I had another corner to turn and that was it but I couldn't.

I sat on the nearby bench and pulled out my phone calling Julia.

"Hello?" She answered.

"Can-you pick me up-pp from the corner of the street?" I asked shivering as I spoke.

"Yeah I'm coming."

5 minutes later she came holding an umbrella and in pajamas. She ran to me and helped me off the bench.

"Come on let's go" she said.

We made it to my bed 20 minutes later. I passed out soon as my head hit the pillow. My dreams coming alive.
