Sitting on my bed, thinking how absolutely confused I am.
Why the hell did I run away?
Because I'm stupid as fuck.
The most gorgeous man was in MY apartment building. Kate why couldn't you just stay or something.
I got up from my bed and walked into the kitchen. Julia wasn't here. Probably at work.
I opened the fridge and looked for something to drink but all I found was stupid energy drinks.
I sighed walking back to my room and went into my closet. I pulled out a sports bra and some spandex, with a white loose top. Then I slipped on my flip flops and walked out the door.
I hopped in my car and drove to some ice cream place I used to go to when I was younger.
The memories I had with my family we're beautiful. My dad used to walk around the park with me and eat ice cream.
My mom would push me on the swing. But now I'm grown up and mature.
If my parents were alive they would be so proud of me. They died in a car crash, right on the main street.
I walked in the shop and smiled at the young man at the register. I looked at all the flavors, examining the best ones.
"Can I have birthday cake with hot fudge?" I ordered.
He nodded and scooped the ice cream on a cone handing me the ice cream.
"It's all on me, maybe we can hang sometime? if you have a boyfriend sorry about it." he explained giving me a charming smile.
"Yea I don't have-" I said before getting interrupted and a arm hanging on my shoulder.
"Yeah she does. Move on buddy." Jack said leading me to the door.
I had a shocked look on my face, and anger on my face as well.
"What's wrong beautiful?" he said stopping and looking at me.
"You aren't my boyfriend. I actually wanted to go on a date with him. Your such a bastard. " I yelled.
"Well sweetheart, your going to have to get used to it. Cause I'm not leaving your side. I want you." he said walking away and into his car.
I sighed. Maybe I should go back and get that guys number. He was very attractive. And nice.
I ran back into the shop, seeing the guy look up and smile.
I walked up to the counter and smiled.
"Yes I would like to order that number I never got?" I laughed.
"Of course, coming right up." He handed me the paper with the number and kissed my cheek.
Aw. He's so sweet.
I grinned walking away and hopping inside my car. I drove past the park, seeing bright lights.
"Life can be beautiful."
