Chapter 12~

I was sleeping on the hospital bed when I heard Mel whispering to someone, I opened my eyes and tried to sit up but didn't work, I fell back on the bed. Mel saw this and came over to me and looked at me. "Elizabeth, you're supposed to be resting right now, go back to sleep," Mel said turning to look at Maribelle. ( I know Maribelle can be a girl's name but let's just say it's a boy's name.) I looked at him and giggled but after a couple of seconds, I felt darkness consume me.

Meliodas's POV

I was holding Maribelle in my arms, I was whispering him things that I thought was going to be a good idea when I saw Ellie try and get up but she fell back on the bed, I walked to her and said: "Elizabeth, you're supposed to be resting right now, go back to sleep". I knew she didn't want to so I had to use my dark magic to make her pass out. After I saw she was sleeping again and went back to Maribelle to change his diaper and get him all nice and warm in his crib. After a couple of minutes, he finally went to sleep and that gave me time to see Ellie and how she was doing, I checked her and saw she was in pain. I called Merlin to give her pain killers and it helped, Ellie was twitching in her sleep, Merlin had to hold her down to stop her from doing it.

(back to Ellie's POV) (not for long though)

I was having a dream of Meliodas's brothers raping me, I started crying and I'm better sure I was twitching as well. I felt arms holding me down, I knew it was Merlin and I didn't really mind at all. After a couple of minutes, I saw white, I didn't feel or hear anything, I was scared of what was happening.

Meliodas's POV

Merlin was holding Ellie down when suddenly Merlin shot off the bed and ran out the room coming back with machines in her hands, I saw tears coming down her face then I asked what happened and she said Ellie's heart stopped. I just stood there shocked and prayed that Merlin can save her if she left then how will she help me with the kids. She always said she doesn't want to be like her mother that died when she was a baby, she wanted to be there for her daughters and son and watch them grow and have their own children. I started crying while Merlin was doing CPR with her. A couple of minutes pass by and I hear breathing but out of breath breathing, I turn around and see Ellie alive and awake. I ran to her and hugged her then helped her sit up. We talked for a little until Ellie fell asleep, I laid her back down and sighed, being happy that she didn't die on me.
