Chapter 2

***Loki's POV
Emptiness
That was the only word to describe how I was feeling.
But then as I awoke more, a flow of curses flew from my mouth.
"$&@£€¥*^%#}][<>?!"
Some of which where so rude that I myself was astounded that a political figure like myself would know such profanities.
"F**k my life!!!"
I was in pain, A LOT of pain.
I had never felt this much pain since Thor had used me as a target practice when we were 10 and his spear went right through my stomach and out the other side.
Compared to this that spear felt like a splinter.
So I lay there, unmoving ( mainly because I can't move ) contemplating my death, counting my failures and wondering why my speech pattern has become so poor.
Through my hazy mist of suffering, a thought occurred to me.
"For a dark and bottomless abyss, this place sure looks a lot like earth..."
...
...
...
"GOD DAMMIT!!! Oh my frigging god, I can't do anything right today!!!" I scream out.
Suddenly I hear a slight intake of breath coming from some bushes nearby.
"I'm so screwed,"
I mentally face palm, but end up slapping myself. At least the feeling has returned to my arm and face, I think.
Lesson learned, falling into a abyss does not automatically solve all your problems

***Aurora's POV
It was so weird,
One minute I close my eyes then suddenly he appears out of nothing. There was no sign of a fall or anything.
After he appeared, he barely stayed unconcious for a minute and as soon as he awoke, a river of curses flew from his mouth. Some so rude it made my cheeks turn bright red from the sinful language.
He was obviously in pain.
So I did what I do best, I stayed quiet and watched. I watched him have detailed conversations with himself, completely unaware of the commotion around him.
Dogs barking, men yelling, all drawing ever closer, but both us are trapped in a void where no one can hurt us. And for the first time is years... I felt safe. It was a weird sensation that I had never experienced before, one I probably will nver experience again.
I was right...
Something appears to have occured to him and he yells out at the top of his lungs and all falls silent.
They had heard him.
And then I broke the only rule I had,
I made a sound
He has heard me,
Everyone had...
