Chapter Twenty Nine: Ireland
Sam's P.O.V
"Sam, where are you going?"
"Are you pregnant?"
"Are you spending the holiday with Niall?" They all screamed. Niall's fingers were interlocked with mine as he pulled us through the crowded airport. I had my suitcase rolling behind me and my hand was on the strap of my carry on that draped over my shoulder. We were about to get on the plane to Ireland. I got a bit better with the crowds now that I am used to dating Niall. It wasn't like the first time where I fainted. I nearly gave Ni a heart attack that day. We finally got through the crowd and to the gate. We sat down as Paul wouldn't let people within 100 feet of us. I thought about my goodbye to the boys. They were excited to go home for Thanksgiving. They got off from recording and stuff until around Christmas. Even though they aren't touring, they have interviews, studio sessions and many other things. They are still very busy. We would fly to the boys and they would fly to us though. I mean four weeks without my Louis, how could I survive?
"Are you tired, babe?" Niall asked. I nodded, leaning my head onto his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my waist. Once our flight was called, Niall grabbed our bags. The other three we had were already at his mum's house. The flight would be short, since it was only to Ireland. I figured Niall could use the sleep though. Last night the boys had a late interview and they all still had to pack. Niall was so tired, I felt terrible for him. We got to our seats and Niall instantly cuddled into my chest. I placed my hand gently onto his cheek and smiled as I could hear the soft snore come from him after about five minutes. For the plane ride, I mainly played on his phone and with his hair. I read through his phone, because I'm his girlfriend and let's be honest, he's Niall Horan. I read through his Twitter mentions and laughed at a few. I followed a few girls and then tweeted a picture of him off my account. I laughed as people were so happy to get a sleeping Niall picture. A lot of people were asking where we were going, although some actually did say that I was going to Ireland for the week. I laughed at how smart Directioners were, Niall was right, they are the best fans in the world. Niall was crazy about them. I loved seeing how happy they made him and how they made his dreams come true."Now landing in Dublin Airport, I hope you enjoyed the flight and have a safe stay." The woman said over the speakers. I hated to wake Niall up, but we did have to go see his parents. I shook him lightly as he cuddled into my chest asking for five more minutes. I reminded him that we were on a plane and he can't have five more minutes. He got up, with a pout might I add, and grabbed our carry ons. I took mine and his hand as I led him off of the plane. I saw Greg and smiled. I ran into his arms. I loved Greg, he was way too nice. I laughed as Niall lazily hugged him because of how tired he was. Later when he wakes up, he will probably be all over Greg, asking how everything is and how the family is. I remember seeing pictures of the most recent Horan, Theo. Niall would always go off about him, showing me many pictures and talking about their first memories together. I have to admit the pictures of Theo and Niall together melted my heart. We got into the car, Greg in the front, and Niall and I were in the back. Niall laid down across the seat with his head in my lap. He closed his eyes again and I laughed at how lazy he was.
"How is Nialler treating ya?" Greg asked. I laughed, knowing Niall was totally listening.
"He's rather mean to me." I giggled. Niall's eyes shot open and he looked at me.
"Ya serious, babe? We have so much fun together, what are you on? I'm the nicest person ever." He said. He sounded so much more Irish than usual, but maybe it was just the Ireland setting that made it seem that way.
"I'm kidding. You are so very nice to me. I am blessed to have Niall James Horan in my life. I actually wake up thanking the Gods for making a perfect human like yourself." I smiled. Greg laughed.
"Jeez, you like him much more than our whole family does." He joked. Niall faked being hurt. He placed his hand over his chest and just made Greg and I laugh even more. We pulled up to a small house. I smiled knowing Niall was probably so excited. It was about 1:00 in the afternoon. The house was so beautiful. There was a little white fence that gated in the grass and the stone path. Niall opened the door and helped me out of the car, shaking with excitement. I had heard him have calls with his mum and he loved her so much. The door opened, and a short blonde woman walked out. Niall dropped his bag and ran to her. He looked as if he was going to break her back at how tight he was hugging her. I picked up Niall's bag and grabbed both of our suitcases.
"Niall James, are you serious? Help the lass with the bags." His mum scowled. I laughed as she had a thicker accent than Niall. Niall turned to me and his eyes widened as he saw me struggling with bags.
"I've got it, love." He said sweetly.
"I'm Maura." His mum walked up to me.
"Samantha." I said back.
"Oh, London beauty? I love your accent. You're too cute. I've always wanted another girl in this house. Between the two of these boys, I don't know how I haven't fled Ireland yet!" She laughed as she pulled me into a hug. I tried to hold back tears. She was acting like a mum to me. That's something that I never got to have. I loved her already.
"Let's get inside, darling. It's November, we shouldn't be embracing in the outdoors." She walked back inside and I stepped into a living room. It was full of pictures of Niall as a kid with Greg and a few other people. You could tell this was a real family. I picked up one of Niall and Greg with instruments as younger kids. Niall walked up behind me and kissed the top of my head. He took the frame from my hand and laughed.
"Jesus, this was like yesterday. I remember singing the songs to my mum and having her taking picture after picture. I was obviously a cuter kid than Greg was." He smirked, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Let's grab our stuff and go to my room." He continued. We walked up the stair and into a blue room. I laughed at how Niall it was. There was a queen bed in the middle, two guitar stands, a Ram Football logo too. He's such a dork. On his bed were our other suitcases. I pulled out his draws as I put my stuff away. He lazily threw stuff into the closet, making me roll my eyes at the 20 year old. He pulled me onto the bed and onto his lap. I kissed his neck and jawline.
"I'm so happy you came." He whispered.
"I'm happy you asked." I smiled. I loved his family. I was so excited to have a proper Thanksgiving. I mean, now I actually am thankful for something. We finished packing and walked downstairs. Niall went to grab a spoonful of potatoes, causing Maura to smack his wrist with a soon.
"You can wait." She scowled in a loving manor. I laughed and took a seat at the table. Niall opened a beer and handed me a glass of iced tea. He knew me so well. I took a sip of his beer and he looked at me.
"Ya serious, Green?" He laughed.
"Wanna fight about it?" I asked. Before I knew it, he had started tickling me and stopped me from falling onto the floor.
"Alright alright, time to eat." Maura said. I was having a lunch cooked by a mum for the first time. It felt right. Being next to my boyfriend, his mum and brother. It was something I had always wanted. I wanted a family. I never had this growing up, except for when I went to Isabella's house on the weekends. I smiled and started to eat my lunch, not realizing how hungry I was. Niall was finishing his beer. Once we were done, we went upstairs to rest. It was barely 3:00, but Niall and I were tired. Niall laid on my chest as I ran my hand through his hair.
"I'm so excited for Thursday." I smiled.
"I bet it'll be beautiful." Niall said, looking no where in particular.
"Aw, you're cute. I bet you'll look very nice too."
"I meant the table full of food." He laughed. I shoved him off me gently and leaned to face the wall. He knew I wasn't actually mad. He grabbed me by my waist and we wrestled to the floor before deciding to catch up on very much needed sleep.
Yay for Ireland. I want to go so badly omfg. Keep reading and I hope you enjoyed this x
