Walking into the glass elevator was hell again for y/n. There nerves had kicked in once again and almost had her shaking in the corner. Instead though, she tried to act brave. Long story short she wasn't a very good actor.

Y/n hears Mr.Wonka press a button behind her. She whips around to face Mr.Wonka. Instead, Charlie speaks up, "Up and out? What kind of room is that?" y/n shivered at the name of the so called 'room.' "Hold on," was all Mr.Wonka said. The glass elevator shot up, gaining speed rather slowly, "Wait no, I can't," y/n said, her voice wavering like a special effect, "can't what?" Charlie asked as he turned around to see y/n stood next to Mr.Wonka, "It doesn't matter Charlie," she answers, causing Charlie to turn back around and look out of the glass at the wall they were currently whizzing past.

"My goodness, we're going to need to go much faster otherwise we'll just never break through," Mr.Wonka said, looking up above him, "break through what?" Charlie frowned. Mr.Wonka didn't answer the question directly, "I've been wanting to press that button for years," he smiled rather enthusiastically. Charlie seemed quite happy about the situation aswell.

Y/n's breathing grew heavier and heavier and they gained speed faster, still travelling upwards. Mr.Wonka noticed y/n and attempted to pull her closer to him. She wouldn't budge at first but without words he insisted. He pulled her by the waist into a small hug before speaking, "Well, here we go, up and out!" Mr.Wonka cheered, looking up again, "B..but do you really mean..?" y/n shook as she asked, nervously, "Yeah, I do," he whispered into her hair as he pulled her into a tighter hug. She closed her eyes and tried to focus on something other than the current situation. She rested her head against his shoulder and breathed in slowly. His minty scent gave her a strong feeling of relief, "B.. But it's made of glass," she stuttered, just making her nerves even worse. He stroked her hair in an attempt to calm her down and hugged her tighter, whispering sweet "shh's" and "its okay's" into her ear.

Smash.

The glass had broken. For a second, y/n thought it was the elevator that had smashed but she opened her eyes slowly, only to realise that it is was only the glass above them. They were shooting up into the air, very quickly and suddenly, they dropped. It felt like elastic on a rubber band had gone slack, like there was nothing else to worry about. If it wasn't for y/n's tremendous fear of heights, she'd be loving it right now. Mr.Wonka smiled as he noticed her sinking into his shoulder a little more. He turned around every so slightly and pressed a button on the wall, causing the elevator to float. They were safe. She didn't let go of Mr.Wonka, she just pulled away a bit. Her head was still on his shoulder, however she was beside him now. She took deep breaths as she stared straight ahead of her. Mr.Wonka tapped her on the shoulder and reassured her that it was okay and that she could look down.

Underneath them, they saw the other children and their parents exiting the chocolate factory, now with new quriks. First there was Augustus, covered in chocolate as he sucked on his fingers. Second there was Violet, who's mother looked disgusted and disturbed as Violet did backbends and various other contortion moves. She was stretchy, but blue. Thirdly there was Veruca and her father, both covered thoroughly by trash. They were coated in banana peels and lots of other garbage items. Veruca took a look at the flying glass elevator, seconds later she was pouting. It was hard to tell what was being said from high up. And finally, there was Mike and his father. Mike was stretched to a ridiculous size, looking like a flattened noodle. He was tall now, maybe about 7-8 foot at the most. His father didn't look too happy about it either.

"Where do you live?" Mr.Wonka asked.
"Me?" Charlie looked up at Mr.Wonka who was staring back at him.
"Both of you, we can visit the boy first though, then we'll be off to yours y/n," Mr.Wonka looked at y/n, who was currently oblivious as she stared at the ground, "There," Charlie pointed, "I live there and y/n lives there," he said, pointing to two different locations that looked about correct. Mr.Wonka rushed the elevator over to Charlie's House, they got there in a matter of seconds thanks to the speed. Instead of parking on the snow outside, Mr.Wonka just had to crash through the roof, which of course startled Charlie's family. Charlie hopped out of the elevator happily, followed by y/n and then Mr.Wonka. He ran to greet his parents.

"Mum, dad, this is Mr.Wonka he gave us a ride home," he explained as his parents engulfed him in a hug, "I see that," Mrs. Bucket says and she stares at the roof awkwardly, "you must be the boys...p... P.. Pa... " Mr.Wonka struggles to finish his sentence, "Parents?" y/n chimes in from the back, "Hi y/n," Mr. Bucket waved. "Apparently I've won something," Charlie says.
"Not just some something," Mr.Wonka begins, "the most something something of any something that's ever been," he finishes as he opens a couple of their cupboards and peaks inside.

"I'm gonna give this little boy my entire factory," he said casually.
"You must be joking," Mr.Bucket blurted out, "No really it's true, cause you see a few months ago I was having my semi-annual hair cut and I had the strangest revelation," Mr.Wonka begins to go into an indepth story about how he found his first grey hair and realised there would be no one to take over the factory after he passed, "that's why you sent out the golden tickets, " Charlie said as Mr.Wonka had finished explaining, "uh-huh," Mr.Wonka says not so reassuringly, "I invited five children to the factory and the one who was the least rotten would be the winner," he told everyone as he searched through more cupboards.

"So, what do you say? Are you ready to leave all this behind and come live with me in the factory?" Mr.Wonka walked back over to Charlie who was still stood with his family, "Sure! Of course! I mean it's alright if my family come too," Charlie beamed.
"Oh my dear boy of course they can't," Mr.Wonka smiled lightly, "you can't run a chocolate factory with a family hanging over you like an old dead goose," he explains, "no offense," he says, turning to look at Charlie's other grandparents that remained in bed, "None taken, jerk," Grandpa George mumbles, causing y/n to glare at him from the back of the room, "a chocolatier has to run free and solo," he motioned some sort of pattern with his hands in the air, "he has to follow his dreams, gosh darn the consequences," Mr.Wonka turns around, heading back towards his elevator, "now look at me, I have no family and I'm a giant success," he was inside the elevator now.

"So if I go with you to the factory, I might never see my family again?" Charlie asked, his face suddenly becoming serious and his whole demeanour changing, "Yah, consider that a bonus," Mr.Wonka joked.
"Then I'm not going, I wouldn't give up my family for anything, not for all the chocolate in the world," Charlie said quietly as he stared at Mr.Wonka, whos face was melting from a smile into a blank, empty look, "Oh I see," he began, "well that's weird," he stepped out of the elevator slightly, "there's other candy too besides chocolate?" he tries to convince him.
"I'm sorry Mr.Wonka, I'm staying here," Charlie fired back.
"Wow.." Mr.Wonka whispered, "well that's just......unexpected... And weird.. But I suppose in that case I'll just...." he sighed, "what about you y/n, would you come with me? we can organise some arrangements between our businesses.." he turned to y/n.
"Of course I will," she smiled her award winning smile as she walked over to elevator, standing inside it with him.

"Goodbye then," Mr.Wonka said quickly, pressing a button on the wall causing the elevator to shoot through the roof with y/n and Mr.Wonka inside.
