I closed my mouth when I realized that my jaw was hanging. I have a chance with her! YES! Wait why am I getting so excited?
I stared at Danny the rest of their practice, her movements were captivating. She danced around so gracefully and easily caught up to the rest of the team. It looks like she's been doing this for a long time and probably even taken some dance lessons.
I peeled my eyes away from her and turned to the field to try and find Eze. He was racing towards the goal with the ball bouncing from each of his feet trying to shake off the other players. He dashed forward but the goalie anticipated his movements and jumped to the right side. But at the last second Eze switched the direction of the ball sending it all the way to the back of the net. Then the coach blew the whistle signaling the end of the game. Eze and his teammates walked towards him and after a few minutes the coach dismissed them.
I returned my attention to the cheerleaders but they had already finished their training as well and were heading towards the locker room and the shower. As I looked to the end of the bleachers I saw Mike walking towards me, I had forgotten he was in the soccer team. "Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that the mighty Sam watching a soccer practice after I begged her to come and watch me play for years?" He said once he reached me.
"Ha ha! Hilarious" I answered while rolling my eyes. "I was actually watching Is and the cheerleaders practice" I added with a smirk.
"Oh is that so?" He had a mischievous smile, then all of the sudden he hugged me and I felt my feet leave the floor as he spun me around.
"Ew babe, you're drenched in sweat, it's disgusting" I tried to put as much repulsion as I could muster but it was futile.
"I know you don't care, you love me just the way I am" he said with a smile. He placed me down and took my hand guiding me down towards the entrance of the main building.
"Hey, where are we going?" I asked curiously.
"We're having a girls night out today" He said quietly.
"What? But it's Monday! Mike we have a first period class tomorrow!" I tried to pry my hand from him but his grip just tightened, not enough to harm me tho.
"Come on Sam! Live a little, it's been ages since we've last hang out! You've been neglecting us" he tried to reason with me. He was right, I've been busy with the whole Danny thing and I haven't even told them about what was going on with me, they might help me figure things out.
"Ok but wait, I have to let Is know where I'm going and hand her the car keys" He finally released my hand and let me go towards the looker room. Once I got in I started looking for my sister but I couldn't find her. Hm, she was probably taking a quick shower. I stood at the door and inhaled as much air as I could before screaming as loud as possible "MAAAARCOOOO!"
The cheerleaders that were changing just stood there staring at me trying to hold their laughs. A few seconds of silence led to a high pitched "POOLOOO" coming from the showers. All of the squad burst out laughing, it was a common thing between my siblings and me whenever we couldn't find each other. After some minutes my sister came walking towards me with a towel wrapped around her and a smile plastered on her face. She was really gorgeous, I really wish I was a bit more like her.
"You called?" She asked with a giggle.
"Yeah, I wanted to give you the car keys. I'll sleep at Ally's house tonight" I explained handing her the keys.
"Oh ok I'll tell dad, but don't make plans for tomorrow" she added with a shrug.
"Why?" I asked with a frown. Was it someone's birthday?
