With Mason in my arms, I run into another room.
"911, what's your emergency."
"Hi, um, someone broke into my house."

"Is there anyone else with you?" I look down at Mason, who was looking at me with tears in his eyes.

I bite my tongue to keep from saying anything. Still on phone with the officer, I text Jaden.
