As the phoenix returned to the depths of the forest, she found her friend, Minhyun, waiting for her.

"Where were you?" he asked concerned, and a but angry that she didn't follow his advise.

"I went for a walk" she said, not lying completely, but avoiding the part were she met a handsome prince.

"Why did't you take it here?" he asked again.

"I already know this place as the back of my hand. I know we're the river is, where the lake is, where big tree is, where the caves are, I was getting bored of it honestly" she said, crossing her arms and her wings moving slightly.

"okay okay, you get a point there, just be careful, okay? and don't go very far. If you need help just call me with the words i told you to, okay?" he said, knowing that eventually she would end up going out again. "Oh, and don't go out at night, you'll catch more the attention of someone passing by, your wings burn like fire" he said, not really advising but prohibiting it.

Minhyun was a good friend. He would protect her no matter what, he knew if they caught her, they would hunt her and kill her. Phoenixes where a sign of strength for humans, and also they could gain power with only one feather.

While the two friends entered their part of the forest, Prince Jaemin arrived to the palace, where his best friend, Jeno, was waiting for him.

"Damn, you have a long scolding ahead" Jeno said, patting the back of Jaemin in sympathy. "The queen is angry you stormed out of the throne room" he said, now walking towards the house.

"Can I just go directly to my room? I'm tired" Jaemin asked, trying to avoid his mother, not ready for her scolding.

"Nah bro, I would go if I were you, she'll get more angry" Jeno advised, actually being sincere because the queen was scary when she was angry.

"Alright then, come with me" Jaemin said taking the arm of his friends softly and dragging him along him.

"Wait! I don't- ugh, i don't have another choice, do I?" asked Jeno just letting him drag him and Jaemin saying no popping the 'p' at the end.

The arrived to the throne room, the guards letting them passed. And in the throne, was an angry looking Queen, eyes flashing when she saw her older son.

"Jeno, please give me some space with my son" The Queen ordered and Jeno bowed and went out. Jaemin gulped, knowing his mother was angry.

"Na Jaemin, future hire of the throne... You should't let your mother talking alone! That was extremely disrespectful, I'm the Queen and your mother!" She scolded, and Jaemin just stood there, not really knowing what to say.

"So? Na Jaemin?" The queen ask, wanting to know if he would say something.

"I'm sorry mother" he apologized, not really feeling it, but knowing his mother wanted to hear it. The queen smiled, being satisfied.

"You are forgiven, you can go" The Queen said, letting him go. Jaemin bowed and left the room, Jeno was waiting for him outside.

"So, how did it went?" Asked Jeno, while they walked through the gardens towards the main house and Jaemin's room.

"Could have been worse honestly, she was pretty chill" said Jaemin to his friend. They arrived to Jaemin's room and Jeno left, giving him the chance to rest after his long day.
