Jack's pov:

The guard leads me down multiple hallways and to a barely furnished room. He leaves me there, not providing any instructions or even talking to me at all. He barely even looked at me. I shrug it off, he probably doesn't speak English, him being an alien and all. That brings up a question I hadn't yet asked but I probably should; how does he know English? I write the question down so I remeber to ask him later.

I take a seat in one of the comfy chairs  nestled in the corner of the room. Placing my clipboard on the small table next to it I pull a blanket over myself, preparing to look over my notes. Instead I end up falling asleep, curling up and closing my eyes.

Gabriel's pov:

When I return to my room at the end of the day after working out an agreement on Jack's stay. To my surprise he's snuggled up on one of my chairs, cuddling one of the few blankets in the room. I grin at his cuteness, debating whether or not to move him to the bed. I decide against it in case I wake him up, instead I drape him in the covers from my bed, I'll just use one of the blankets from the common area.  After making sure he's comfortable I move to the bed, snagging the last blanket on my way to the room.

Climbing into bed I fall asleep easily, the thought of jack sleeping happily in the next room eases me into sleep.

When I wake up I see jack is still sleeping in the fluffy chair, only now he's clutching the blanket to his chest and burring his face in the blanket. Grinning I grab two food pouches after making sure both are fit to be consumed by him ( just in case he wants to eat some of mine) and shake him awake. He blinks a few times before mumbling a bleary "good morning" and taking the pouch. He studies me as I open mine and copies what I do.

After we eat I break the news to him; he isn't going to be interviewing anyone today, I had paper work to do involving his stay here and he had to get vaccinated. He takes the news very well, just shrugging and grabbing his clipboard.

I walk him down to the med-bay while explaining what he's going to be getting. "You will be getting vaccinated for most common diseases we might be carrying as well as being outfitted with some of our tech" I explain, he nods in understanding. "Ok, what will this tech do?" He asks, pencil poised and ready to write. "It will just be a standardized H.U.D" I lie, in reality I'm getting him the most exspensive H.U.D money can buy, like the one I have. We reach the med-bay and I summon mercy, the on board medic. She arrives in seconds, already carrying the administer filled with all the needed vaccinations.

Jack's pov:

A woman, who I assume is the nurse, walks up at a brisk pace carrying a strange device. "What's that?" I ask curiously. "This is pretty much the human equivalent of a syringe, it will inject the vaccines you need" she says, grabbing my arm she holds the oblong object to my upper arm, for a second nothing happens but then my arm feels odd and tingly before she removes the object. "There, I'll be back in a second with the H.U.D implant" she says, hurrying off.

She returns seconds later with a similar device, only this one has a small blue mark on one edge of it. She places the object a little bit away from my wrist a bit closer to the elbow.  The process goes the same as with the vaccines.i thank her for the vaccines and the H.U.D as Gabriel leads me away and back to the room.

He sits me down in a chair like the one I slept in and starts shows me how the H.U.D in my arm works. "You turn it on by tapping it three times like this" he says, showing me how by tapping on my arm. A large blue screen projects from my arm, it shows a nearly organized array of what I assume to be apps. He taps a few icons and selects a few options before all the text turns to English. "The only apps you have are a chat app, think like texting or something, and the equivalent of google" he says, pointing to each app. "The last app is like an emergency call service, it will ping my H.U.D and override all protocols against popups, alerting me to your problem so I can rescue you" he explains, I nod, remembering the icon (which looks like the wifi signal) in case I need it. "Ok, but why would I need it?" I ask. "Oh, uh, just in case" he says, not meeting my eyes. I decide to leave it at that.

Gabriels pov:

I feel bad for lying to him, but it's not exactly like I can tell him I'm going to marry him (the only word for it in English that is relitively near the word in my language) and that there were people who might threaten him.

The rest of the day goes pretty smoothly, with me just showing jack how to message me and other stuff (settings and the likes) untill I have to go sign some paper work and talk with the human politicians about Jack's stay and possibly having some other humans from other nations to stay aboard the ship, personally I'm not all for that idea because jack may be a little too interested in one of the humans or vice versa. Instead of saying no like I would have loved to, I said yes, it would be good for relations and encourage them to not be mad when I eventually married jack. We ended up deciding on one more reporter by the name Vincent from Canada, he seemed pretty nice and I don't think he'll be bothering me or jack. with that sorted I can finally start getting the legal documents prepared for me to marry jack. 

I contact my equivalent of a lawyer to get the documents ready so I could sign them and talk to jack about it. Now I have to think about how to talk to jack about me trying to marry him. It would be amazing to have him be elated, for him to excitedly gush a high pitched "yes!" As he jumps up and down like in one of the annoying ring comercials that keeps popping up Everytime I try to watch a video on one of the humans annoying video services. I know in my head that won't be the case (mainly because I don't have a ring but also because i'm not exactly sure if he likes me yet or now.

So what do you guys think? Should I continue this story or not? I probably will because I really like it, but it is nice to hear people's feedback!
