Rosabella's pov.

School was dull. A nightmare that seems to never end to be exact. Every since I was informed with such information, confusion and being 'completely over it' has been my mood.

My science teacher was an complete blabbermouth, going over things we were never going to need to know in life. Yeah, lately I've been wondering why school existed. Ok, yes it's important to be knowledgeable and shit like that. But all this algebra and learning about an animal cells seemed hella pointless to me.

Considering the fact that I'm not going to be a scientist or a vet when I get to college.

"May I have your attention please? We have a new student. Mr.King." My science teacher said with surprise as he announced Genesis to the class. My heart dropped as my head snapped up at the sound of my ex-bestfriends name.

Serena looked back at me in shock as I gave her the same exact look. Genesis went to a whole different school from us, and out of nowhere he wants to switch schools. In the middle of the year? Yeah something about this shit ain't right.

Utter fear rose up in my stomach almost as if I had to throw up. His dark shiny eyes scanned the room before finally focusing them upon me. I knew he was looking at me, I could feel it.

With out saying a word, genesis moves to the back of class. A place where only me and serena sat at. Serena as always made the uncomfortable situation known as she stiffened up at the sight of him sitting by us. Damn rena.
I said in my head with a quiet sigh.

God, it seems like you hate me, why? What did I do for you to put me in such uncomfortable situations?

I gave serena a look as I pointed to my watch. The bells about to ring. Me and her hurry and pack our stuff, while at the same time trying  to act as normal as possible. For we do have an audience. The bell soon ranged as we were the first people to just up and run out the door.
With someone hot on our tail.

"I think we lost him rose." Serena said out of breath while looking behind use worryingly. Her brown locks sticking to the side of her face from all the running. I shook my head as I kept a steady pace, if I ran anymore I would most likely pass out. I put the pen in my locker as it opened up, hurrying
To switch out my books but only to hear serena stumbling on her words.

I looked over as my locker was slammed shut. Genesis looked down at me with a serious look on his face. His jaw ticking and his brown eyes now black as he stared me down. I couldn't talk, afraid I would choke on them in the process. You could practically hear rena's heart racing as she stud there, holding her books tightly with a slight grey face.

Serena wasn't afraid of just anybody. She usually stud up for herself. But then again, Genesis wasn't just anybody. So when rena was generally scared, you should be too.

"Go to class." He said simply yet deadly as he turned to rena. Serena gave me a bitch I'm motherfukan scared face as I gave her the same Expression back. But nonetheless rena backed away slowly before walking away. Glancing back at me once in a while before finally disappearing.

"So, you've been ignoring me bunny?" He said calling me by the nickname he gave me. He called me bunny while Ivano called my doll. I felt so little compared to him. Finally gaining the opportunity to talk I said " no-no, I haven't." I said in a quiet tone. Almost in a whisper. I started to question why I was so scared. I mean, I could trust him he's my friend right? But then I remembered what once was an innocent buddy, ran the most dangerous gang in the city. And that spoke volume.

He chuckled as his hands that were once on the side of my head fell to his sides and he stud up straight in front of me.

"Why are you so scared, you know me." He said with a knowing smirk. A smirk I desperately wanted to smack off his face. I stuttered again before finding my words. " it's not that it's just...how come you switched your schools in the middle of the year?" I said confused. While on the other hand he was amused.
"So you where wondering about me? Hm good to know but, that's nothing you should worry your pretty head about." He said with a sweet voice but, I can clearly see he wanted to budge my question.

" what do you want from me, Genesis?" I said with a hint of attitude. Why? What was his point of pulling me to the side.

" you'll see, bunny" and with that, he left.

Confused was an understatement for how I was feeling in this moment.

Whew Chile 👀 Genesis makes my head hurt. But he's fine ass hell so I'll deal with it🤷🏾‍♀️
