Chapter 3
Psyche: Sorry it took me long to write this chapter.I've been busy reading yaoi and boyXboy stories. I am having fun reading!:)
"I...I...Like you Katie..." I was in a total shock when I heard those words came out of his mouth.
What the hell was that all about? Is this some kind of a prank? He just said he likes me!
" Haha, I know Jas. Im so irresistable!" I grabbed his hands and pull him close to the table which is obviously for us since we are all alone at the place. Jasper did not have any chance to say something. He immediately pulled my chair to let me sit. We finished our food when suddenly I heard a music coming from somewhere in the garden.
"Can I have this dance?" Jasper grabbed my hand and pulled me away from my chair.
"You did not ask me to dance with you I guess, you commanded me" I said trying to calm myself. He stares at me and smiled. He pulls me closer to him and I ended up resting my head on his shoulders. As I rest my head on his shoulders he gently whispered "what I said earlier was true Kate" it gives me goose bumps just hearing those words from him. I am too afraid to lose our friendship.So instead of answering back to what he said, I just ignored him and held him tight as we dance to the tune of the song.
"Let's go, I still have something to show you" I followed him to the car and we went straight to our next destination.
"Close your eyes" he pulled me out of his car while I was closing my eyes.
"Now, open it! "When I opened my eyes and explore the place; the place was beautiful. I could see the whole city from up here. "Jas, this place is beautiful!" I smiled amazed by the beautiful view of the city.
"Where did you find this place?"
"I always go here when I was a kid."
"Thank you Jas! You always make me happy." I gave him a FRIENDLY hug and smiled at him.
He hugs me back so tight, touched my face and kissed me.
I slapped him on the face and shouted at him "What the hell Jas! You know I am not ready for this! You definitely should know the reason why! "I muttered and get inside the car. Jasper drove me back to my house without the two of us talking. An hour after and we are back in my house.
"I am sorry Katie" I could see in Jasper's face that he definitely regret what he did. I did not answer back and went inside the house. I hurriedly went inside my room to avoid mom's interrogation.
I can't believe that Japer kissed me. Is he out of his mind? What is he trying to do now, ruining our friendship?
I fell asleep thinking about what happened last night. What should I do? Should I talk to him about what he said last night? What if he was just playing around? Geezz... this guy is driving me crazy.
I went to my first class this morning just on time. I sit right next to Jenna who is very busy with her phone.
"Hi Jen!"
"Hey, you look pretty today!" she greeted me with a smile. "Thanks!" I replied bluntly trying to get my attention to Mr. Walberg, our Chemistry Professor. Great! I forgot that we are going to have a quiz and I did not review.
During my break, I went to the canteen to grab something to eat. I searched around to look for a seat and I saw Jasper with his friends. I hurriedly head my way out to the canteen to avoid Jasper. I can't face him right now because I don't know what to say to him. Should I apologize for spoiling our night? No, I should not! He started all of this and if by any chance that I will see him, I will just ignore him like I have never seen or heard him. That's it! I am going to act like he is invisible. I went to my locker to get some of my books for the next class and apparently when I closed my locker, I saw Jasper standing next to me.
"Hi Kate!" he muttered looking so worried and bothered. "Look Kate, I don't want you to get mad at me, so please, can we just start all over again?" I stared at him for a few seconds and walked away from him like he was just talking in the air. As I walked to my next class I heard my phone beep.
Message:
Jasper
I'm SORRY for being stupid Katie..
It's been a week since Jasper and I talked. Is he mad because I did not reply to his message? I went to the canteen to grab some lunch and I saw Jasper with his friends as usual. I know Jasper knows I am there because he knows what time I go to the canteen and he acts like I was not there. I saw Danna sat beside Jasper. I know that Danna likes Jasper since freshmen, but I don't think Jasper likes Danna. It's just a week since Jasper confessed that he likes me and now what? He is flirting with Danna and ignoring me? That is why I don't want to fall in love again. Boys are just the same, they will all say that they like you and in one click, they will just ignore you. I am happy to be single but I cannot stand not talking to Jasper. I need to talk to him; apologize for ignoring him. That's right! I will just call him. No, he might not answer my call. I should apologize to him personally; I will go to his place later.
