Inosuke x Reader

Boar Head

Two demons had appeared while you and Tanjiro ran towards the east, fighting over you as you both stood there. Tanjiro looked about as confused as you felt until the two demons pounced at once.

You both dodge, but the two demons turn and come back at us. I saw Tanjiro take a breath, the air visible as he got ready to take them out. You get into the first stance and take a breath of total concentration.

You and Tanjiro shout out your attacks and decapitated the two demons. Breathing heavily you look over at him with a proud smile. "We did it" you say, hugging him.

He goes to hug you but stops to grab his nose. "What's that smell?" he said, looking off towards the trees. Seemingly lost in thought he walks over to the trees.

You follow, feeling a strange presence coming closer along with another drenched in fear. Someone runs past, terror clear on their face. The urge to save them kicks in and you take a step forward but freeze when you see what's chasing them. Your body wont move as you watch the creature shuffle past.

It was large, fat and green, arms all over its body. You notice its yellow eyes, quickly looking down as to not attract its attention. At least not yet.

The boy it was chasing after was saying something, but your mind was blank until the demon shot out its arms. In a flash you yelled out the second form water wheel and cut off its arm. Landing gracefully on the ground you turn and keep your sword up, dead calm.

Tanjiro runs over to you and stands beside you, his sword drawn. You notice the sweat running down his forehead and the fear that seeped into his aura, but there was still the determination.

Before anything could do much a demon came out of know where and grabbed you, running off at breath taking speed. "Y/n!" You heard Tanjiro yell, distracted. "Tanjiro, the demon!" You manage to yell before you were out of ear shot.

The demon that had you chuckled, throwing you against a tree before pouncing on you. Pain shoots through your back as you made impact, your lungs no longer having oxygen. You manage to roll of of the way before the demon could do any real damage, it smacking its head against the tree.

"Comin through! Comin through!" Something shouted before something burst through the brush. Startled you jump away, the pain in your back non existent with a new enemy. But something was different about this one.

He was shirtless, though lucky had pants, but just seeing his bare chest made you blush slightly. The boars head mask confused you, but you didnt exactly ask anything as the strange man decapitated the demon.

He laughed loudly, hands on his hips as the demons ashes disappeared. You watch in shock, unsure of what you should do until you feel his aura.

Seems like he has a temper, always on guard, kind of a narcissist, but there was more. You couldn't seem to place your finger on it and the boar headed man didn't give you the chance anyway.

The boar man spun around quickly and looked at you, getting into your face. "Who are you!" He demanded grabbing your shoulders tightly. "Im- um, uh-" you couldnt seem to think straight when he touched you, a strange feeling making its way from your shoulders to you feet.

"Spit it out already!" He shouted, giving you a violent shake. "Y/n!" You yell out, hoping we would quite shaking you. He did. He stepped back and proudly put one of his hands on his waist. Puting his thumb to his chest he said; "I am the great Inosuke! Fight me!" Instantly he had his swords pointed at you, already in a fighting stance.

Exhausted and in pain you shake your head. Smiling softly you look him in the eyes, (what you hope are his eyes) and get closer to him. "How about we don't fight Inosuke the great, Why don't we become friends?" You say kindly, holding out your hand.

You feel him hesitate, the feeling of suspicion filling his aura, but so does something else. Quickly all his feelings were replaced with anger, causing him to lounge at you, shouting out,"Inosuke the great doesn't need friends!". Meaning to dodge you take a step back, but you trip instead.

Inosuke started to fall on top of you, your eyes widening in shock. He lets go of his swords, smacking his hands down next to your head. His knees are next to your thighs and his face, or mask, was only a hair from yours.

A blush burned your face, even though you weren't entirely sure why. Inosuke is off you in a flash, pointing a finger at you accusingly. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!" he shouted as you got up. Brushing the dust of your haori you tilt your head in confusion.

"What do you mean?" You ask. "DON'T FUCKING PLAY INNOCENT! INSTEAD OF FIGHTING ME YOU GOT ALL WEIRD AND RED, MAKING ME FALL ON YOU!" He shouted again. You blush and hide your face, coughing slightly.

Instead of answering him you simply start to walk away, heading back in the direction of Tanjiro. You quickly realize that you have absolutely no idea where your going, and that the boar was still yelling his head off.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YO-" you cut him off by grabbing his hand, the strange feeling shooting up through your arm. You simply ignored it, intent on dragging the boar with you towards safety.

Inosuke was watching you as you lead him away, the strange feeling pulsing through his body, making his mind go blank. All he could think about was your hand, how warm and soft it was, the way your hands were so much smaller than his. A blush was spreading across his face, hidden in his boars mask, as he knit your fingers together and tugged you along instead.

"This way!" He shouted, pulling you in the direction you had already been walking. You didn't seem to notice when he knit your hands together, instead you were doing your best to keep up as he broke out into a run.

When you had finally stopped to cath your breath the sun had risen, making the clouds turn golds and pinks. "Finally" you groan, sitting yourself down, bathing in the sunlight.

Before you knew it you had fallen asleep, warm in the sun light and oddly comfortable in the soft grass. Inosuke turned to see you asleep, frustration burning through him as he had wanted to continue moving. But he realized that he to was tired, and since you were alseep he decided to keep watch.

Sitting next to your sleeping form he glanced at you. Your face was so peaceful, lips slightly open and a soft snore escaping you. The sun seemed to make you h/c hair shine different shades of h/c.

Reaching out, he lightly touched your hair, curious if you were going to wake up. We you didn't, he decided to get comfortable.
