The School of Stars - A Zodiac Story

Zodiac Chapter 1

Gemini's POV

"GEMINI! WAKE UP OR ELSE YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!"

I grumbled, "Just ten more minutes Virgooo" before using my pillow as a soundproof wall to drown my annoying sister's attempt to wake me up. 

Virgo pulled my blanket down.

"AAAAAAAAH!" I shrieked, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

"To get you out of bed" Virgo smirked. Then she muttered "This always works."

"Whatever nerd, I'm awake okay?"

"I'm not a nerd!"

"Fine, you're not a nerd..."

I rubbed my eyes to see that my sister was already dressed, wearing a black cropped tee and some jeans, which wasn't her usual attire. 

"How are you already dressed?!"

"I woke up early." Now that was typical Virgo.

I walked outside and poured myself a bowl of cereal - a VERY BIG BOWL OF CEREAL. After I prepared my breakfast my sister sat on the table with me, taking the cereal box. When she looked up, she was horrified.

"Slow down or you're gonna choke!" She said as I ate a big mouthful of cereal.

"HMMMPM?" I swallowed. "l'm hungry... aren't you going to eat?"

"Watching you eat makes me full already... I'm going to go get ready"

When I finally got dressed, I got my bag and got into the car. It was bright outside, and the light was shining upon my face. I squinted, realising our mom was driving us. Oh well, she wasn't the type of embarrassing mom that packs mushy notes into your lunches saying things that embarrass you, or drown you in hugs and kisses in front of your friends.

On the way, Virgo seemed very quiet.

"Nervous?" I asked.

"A bit. You?"

"Well not really, because I'm feeling quite confident."

"Okay," she said, "I wonder how the school even looks like!"

"So do I." Then I looked up, and gasped.
