Chapter 3

-Next morning (6:30 am)

*Hunter's pov*

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I turned it off and rolled back over to try and fall back asleep, but I quickly jumped up when I realized that I will be going to public school today. I made my way over to my desk and grabbed my clothes. I walked over to my bathroom and shut the door. I looked at myself in the mirror and I had a wide smile on my face. I set my clothes down on the toilet seat and turned on the water. I undressed and got into the shower.

-45 minutes later-

I turned off the shower and got out and dried myself and started getting ready. I walked out of my bathroom after I finished and looked at my alarm clock.

Hunter: shit it's 7:15, mom said that I need to be there by 8 and I'm not even done with my makeup or hair

I quickly calmed myself down and decided to use my powers to help me out a little bit. I used my super speed to speed dry my hair which was basically me whipping my hair back and forth (get it xD). When I felt it was dry enough I plugged in my straightener and grabbed my makeup bag from the drawer in my bathroom. I speed walked to my desk and turned on my mirror and got to work. In about 5 minutes I was done since I don't really do much with my face just a little foundation, blush and mascara. I grabbed my straightener and got to work on my hair.

-10 minutes later-

I set my straightener down and grabbed my brush and went through my hair a couple of times before setting it down and looking at myself in the mirror.

Hunter: You got this just don't be nervous

I took a deep breath before getting up and putting on my shoes. I grabbed my book bag that I used for taking books to the coffee shop whenever Weston had to get software updates and didn't want me in the house when it was happening. I walked out of my room and made my way downstairs where I saw Weston standing in front of the door. She had a big smile on her face.

Hunter: Jeez Wes you look happier than me

I chuckled and so did she

Weston: Well I just can't believe that you are actually getting a chance at a normal life

Hunter: I know and I'm a little nervous

Weston: Don't be now, now hurry up you have a 45 minutes drive to school

I hugged her and she hugged me back. I told her goodbye and opened the door and made my way out to my matte black Camaro. I got inside and started it and made my way out of the driveway. I saw that my dad put a gps in the car so I didn't get lost on where to go. I smiled and turned up the radio and jammed out the whole ride to the school.

-40 minutes later-

I made it to the school with 5 minutes to spare. I pulled into the parking lot and saw some of the students looking at my car. I instantly got nervous and tried to find a parking spot. I found one close to the front and parked there. I parked my car and turned it off. I grabbed my keys from the ignition and my bag from the passenger seat and got out. I locked my car and made my way inside.I heard some kids talking about me and my car but I drowned them out.

I walked into the school and stopped in the center taking in all of the new people and new area, but I immediately got knocked out of it by someone bumping into me really hard causing me to stumble and fall.

?: Shit I am so sorry I didn't see you at all

I looked up at the kid and he had brown eyes with straight blonde hair. He held his hand out for me to grab which I did.
