                                                                                                  ...

  Emmas POV:

As soon as Tracy and I checked out of the hospital and walked out the doors there was a huge Black Mercedes Benz blasting music right before me.

"You like what you see?" Tracy asked chuckling.

My eyes widened.

"There's no fucking way this is yours," I said.

He just nodded smiling.

Tracy wasn't playing when he said he was rich.

I just walked towards it and Tracy rushed ahead of me and opened the backseat for me.

"Not the front?" I asked.

"We sit in back, I got a chauffeur," he said pointing to the front seat.

"So this isn't your car?" I asked.

He chuckled.

"Of course it's my car, I just pay a guy to drive me around cause I don't like driving," he shrugged.

Why would you buy a $200,000 car and not drive it? Well, I guess that's what rich people do.

I climbed in and slid to the seat farthest on the left and Tracy slid in after me and sat in the seat on the far right.

I was honestly a little nervous and indecisive about this whole situation. Moving to a whole other state out of nowhere with my childhood best friend  I haven't seen in years? Kinda sketch. Not even mentioning the fact that he also randomly became rich for a reason I don't even know yet. I mean, I liked being reckless and living on the edge, but this was the ultimate definition of living on the edge. I guess I don't need much background, I just want to start over... act like my past never existed, become a whole new person. Act as if I was a newborn baby in a 17-year-old girl's body, ready to start life and take on the world.

"We gonna stay in a hotel for the night and catch a flight in the morning, aight?" He asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"U-uh yeah sure k," I stuttered.

He just shook his head and pulled out his phone.

I felt the car moving and realized we were now pulling out of the parking lot. The music playing was super loud, but I liked it. I never listened to any new music, or barely any music at all except for the blink 182 greatest hits DVD my mom gave me when I was 10 that I would sometimes put on the radio in my room when my dad was away.

I kind of bopped my head to the beat.

"You like this song?' Tracy asked.

I nodded, "it's groovy,"

I said.

His eyes widened and he let out a laugh he tried to hold in.

"We gotta fix your slang shorty," he said.

I looked at him confused.

"Shorty?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"There is so much I need to teach you," he said.

"Ay Vincenzo, can you drive us to the apple store?"

(If you understand that name i love u)

"Are we buying apples?" I asked.

He laughed hard.
