Chapter 18

Zack had decided that Camille's apartment was too small to host a party. He decided to have it at his house. His parents were fine with it as long as there was no drug use. His dad said that since this would be Camille's first and last high school party, that they would be allowed to drink beer, but only beer, even though it was illegal. No other alcoholic beverages.

Camille was overjoyed at the turn up. All the seniors came and most of the juniors. Some sophomores came, although they mostly mingled within themselves.

The music was turned up very loud. The music playing was rock, mostly the good stuff like Avenged Sevenfold, Hollywood Undead, Linkin Park, Metallica, Famous Last Words.

Everyone at the party seemed to be having a lot of fun. Camille was being crowded by her newest friends and her best friend, Stacey. Camille was thrilled.

Everybody was dancing and singing. Camille and Zack were dancing together.

"Can't you help me as I'm starting to burn? Too many doses and I'm starting to get an attraction. My confidence is leaving me on my own. No one can save me and you know I don't want the attention." Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold was playing when Zack grabbed her hand and began pulling her though the house. He led her to a small room, occupied by only a few others.

Zack wrapped his hands around Camille's waist and she warped her arms around his neck. Zack touched his nose with Camille. They stayed like that for a very long time.
