The Lovely Couple

Chapter 4

Camille sat down at her usual table. It was a small, round table with three seats. Stacey was already there.

When Camille and Zack walked to the table, Stacey looked up. She almost spit out her drink when she saw the two together.

"What's this?" Stacey asked.

"This is Zack," replied Camille.

"I'm the guy with a crush on your bestie," Zack said confidently.

Camille's eyes widened to the size of an anime characters. She dropped her lunchbox on the ground. Stacey spit out her milk. Her blond hair had little droplets of milk in it.

"What?" asked a clueless Zack. "I did ask for your number. I thought it was pretty obvious."

"You're like the most popular boy in school and you have a crush on ME?" asked Camille with noticeable shock in her voice.

"What reason wouldn't I have to like you?" Zack asked.

"'Cause I'm invisible!"

"Well I can see you," said Zack.
