You clenched the books on your chest as you enter the school grounds. You adjust your thick glasses and cover yourself with books.

You're a nerd clearly. And you're the campus' target.

You immediately made your way inside the classroom and sit on your seat. Avoiding any forms of war.

~•~

The class ends already. Just thank goodness nothing has happened. No bullying the whole day. Which you find... weird.

Normally, bullies would make fun of you. They would get your assignment, would throw something to you, or would simply hurt you physically.

But none of them has happened today.

It's not that you want it to happen. You just found it unusual.

While putting your books in your locker, a pair of hands clench your arms and slam you against the metal box. You can't help but scream in pain because of the impact.

"Shut up, nerdy!"

And you did. You didn't want to go against them or fight them. You want to go home peacefully.

When today was about to be fine, these bullies came and might have a plan on hurting you.

"Do you think just because we let you roam around today freely, you won't be hurt? Think again!" The girl slap you so damn hard that it leave a pinkish mark.

You hold your cheeks with tears gathering in your eyes. You never dare to look at them straightly in the eyes.

"We planned something and this time, you will surely transfer to another school," a girl said.

That has been their goal, to make you leave the school. But you never did despite what they did to you. You promised to your deceased father that you will finish your study here. That's why no matter what happened, you will graduate here. Even if that means, your body is incomplete because of the physical injuries they're giving you.

Why? Simply because you became this school's smartest student. And the boss of these girls doesn't like it. Hence the cause of bullying.

"Drag her!" said the girl. They pull you out of the locker room and went somewhere.

There are no students around, meaning no one can see whatever they're doing.

Then you stop in front of a small room.

"W-what are you gonna do?" You found the courage to talk.

"Isn't it obvious? We're going to lock you here. I thought you're smart?" she answered and unlock the small room.

"P-please no! I'll do anything, just please no!" you begged.

"Then transfer out!"

"I... I can't."

"Then suffer inside!" The two other girl push you in.

You tried to run out but they wave you a goodbye and locked the door.

"Let me out! Please! Let me out!" you yelled while sobbing.

You're afraid. So damn afraid.

"You want here? Then stay there!"

"Let me out!" You slam the door as tears glisten in your cheeks.

You continue to sob while crying for help. You can't bare this. You're scared of small spaces and this will kill you.

You slide down the door making you fall in your butt. You hug your knees as you cry.

"Help..." you whispered.

Suddenly, you felt something moved and it made you flinched.

"W-who's there?" you asked despite the fear.

Then you saw a figure. A figure of a man, perhaps a student here.

"Who are you?" you asked.

"Why is it so noisy?" the guy asked, not minding your question.

He rub his eyes with a pout and you found it cute. Your face heat up and you can feel a tinge of pink around your cheeks.

His gaze then fixed on you.

"Are you crying?" The stranger run towards you and you hug yourself tighter.

"Hey?" Concern can be heard over his voice. "Are you okay?" You didn't answer.

"Well, clearly you're not." The stranger sit beside you.

"I'm Choi Jongho."

You didn't speak. You're afraid that he might be one of the bullies. But why does he sound worried and why did he asked you why are you crying if he's one of them? So you answered him.

"L-L/N Y/N."

"Can you tell me why are you crying?" he asked, looking at you straight in the eye but you didn't look back.

"I-I was b-bullied. T-they locked me up here. A-and I have a claustrophobia so..." You know they would kill you once you told someone that, but you have enough of it. You want them kicked out of the school.

"Ah, I see," Jongho said.

"Y-you? Why are you here?" you asked, suddenly feeling comfortable with him.

"I didn't have enough sleep yesterday. So I found this perfect spot to sleep. But I guess I overslept."

Silence ruled. Nothing can be heard except your breaths. You can see the orange light coming from outside. You can't hear any noise either, means there are no people around anymore.

"Unfortunately, my phone's dead so we can't ask for help," he stated while looking at his device.

So was yours. Your phone was dead too. Why so unfortunate?

You look around with fear around your eyes. You hug yourself tighter as you stare harder at each corner.

You then felt Jongho's hand on your head and force you to rest it on his shoulder.

"Don't be scared, Y/N. I'm here," he said in the most soothing word he can utter.

Jongho caressed your head while humming a beautiful song. It calmed your nerves down, making your heart beats back to normal.

His voice is heaven in your ears. You want more of it.

You didn't notice that your eyes are slowly closing, leaning more to him as he rest his head on yours.

And when the song ended, he too fell asleep.
