Mia got home and sighed. She had been having sex with Jack all night. She walked into the house and frowned as she saw Stacey. Stacey looked at her and frowned. "There you are. Where have you been?" She asked.

"I was out," Mia said as she kicked off her shoes. She knew her sister didn't believe her.

"If you say so. We have a visitor," Stacey said.

Mia walked into the kitchen and frowned as she saw Sean. Mia looked at her brother and smiled. "What are you doing here?" Mia asked.

Sean turned to look at Stacey. "You haven't told her?" He asked. He was more protective over Mia as she had always been the vulnerable one.

Mia frowned. She hated being kept in the dark. "What's going on?"

Stacey took a deep breath and took old of Mia's hands. "There's something you need to know. It's about mum. She's got cancer," Stacey told her.

Mia looked to her in shock. She couldn't believe it. She turned and walked out of the house. She felt sick knowing what her mum was going through and that she didn't know.

Mia got to the Vic and walked upstairs to the flat. She went into Madison's room. She looked at Madison as she laid in bed. "Mad, I need to talk to you. Are you okay?" She asked.

Madison sat up and smiled. "I'm fine. What's up?" She asked as she noticed that Mia had been crying.

"My mum. She has cancer. Sean is back too. And just as things are getting good with Jack."

Madison smiled and took hold of Mia's hands. "Jean is going to be okay. She's a fighter. The Sean and Jack thing. You know they have a history. In which I mean Roxy. But Sean needs to know over it. If you're serious about Jack," she said.

Mia smiled and hugged her cousin. She could tell that Madison was off. "I know that something happened with you. You know you can tell me," she said.

"I can't tell anyone. I made a mistake and now I'm being punished," Madison said as she looked down at the bed.

"Mads?"

"I was mortal. I slept with someone and now I'm pregnant," Madison admitted. She felt a tear slip down her cheek.

Mia climbed under the quilt with Madison. She held her close and smiled. "It's all going to be okay."

Mia sat in the park as she looked up to see Jack as he sat next to her. "I heard about your mum. Are you okay?" He asked as Mia shrugged. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her in for a hug and a quick kiss. "It's going to be okay. I promise you. I'm gonna be here for you."

Mia smiled and kissed him. Jack placed a hand on her cheek and kissed her back.

"What the hell is going on?"

Mia and Jack pulled away. Mia looked at her brother and sighed. "Leave it Sean. It's none of your business," she said as she stood up.

Sean looked at her and frowned. "I'm your brother. He's bad news. Especially after everything to do with Roxy. He drove her away and the reason that she's dead," he said.

"Because it had nothing to do with the drugs. Mia can make her own choices," Jack said.

Sean nodded. He looked at his sister. "Yeah. You can. It's your family or him. Keep in mind mum needs you," Sean said.

Mia frowned. She didn't know what to do. Or how to choose between Jack and her family. When her mum was so ill.
