Shuichi's POV
My name is Shuichi Saihara, I go to a school called Hopes Peak Academy, where they base you on your talent, while they do teach us basic high school criteria, it's mainly about our takents.
I'm the ultimate Detective, and found myself making friends quickly here. But I do have these specific friends who seem to bother me about one thing.
They're names are Kaito Momota, Kokichi Ouma, Tsumugi Shirogane and Miu Iruma.
They usually bug me about a girl, I've liked for a while. Kaede Akamatsu. She's a charming girl, whenever she speaks in her soft angelic voice, I can feel my heart beat out of my chest, and my face turning red. She's a pianist, and plays sweet and beautiful melodies, the overall suit her well.
I'm nothing like her, a weird, shy boy who can't hold up a conversation. I would often stare at her and dream about her. It kinda blows my mind that me and Kaede are best friends.
These 4 people spotted this, and are now trying to get us together. Kaito just wants to see me happy and get the girl of my dreams(Kaito is a very supportive man, and I appreciate him, so I'm not too mad), Tsumugi seemingly just wants me and Kaede together, Miu and Kokichi are... all over the place.
I know they're trying to help me( well most of them) but I'm scared they'll ruin my relationship with Kaede.
