"Come on, Kyran! It's not like it'll kill you!" Kyran heard the other blue-haired girl tell him. She had been poking him about asking Gold out for quite some time now. It was getting annoying at this point. He picked his head up from the desk he had it laid down on and faced her.

"Funneh! Please, I just don't know," Kyran exclaimed. He had been trying to refrain from talking, cause he knew if he spoke he would let his blush out. He did, of course, cause he was very stupid.

"If your going to say that you know she doesn't like you— I've seen it!" Funneh exclaimed, flailing her arms out for emphasis. The two males that stood next to her nodded their heads in unison.

"You guys have been low-key high-key flirting with each other for like, 2 or 3 weeks now. How can you say she doesn't like you. She even blushes around you for crying out loud!" Evan blurted out as he kept on listing reasons why Kyran should shoot his shot. Alec stood behind him, his hands in his pockets, shaking his head in disappointment. Or was it disapproval? Kyran had ducked his head back down into his folded arms on the desk. He thought about it long and hard.

     Should I?

He was brought back out of his thoughts when Funneh finally stopped yapping.

"Fine! I'll ask her! Will that shut you up?" Kyran whisper-screamed. Funneh didn't respond and instead gave him a mischievous grin.

"I'll go find her for you, dude!" Funneh yelled before she ran out of the classroom on the hunt for Gold. Kyran sank back in his seat and thought about what he had just agreed to.

He did want to ask Gold out. Very badly, in fact. But he didn't know if it was the right time yet. Yes, they had been playfully flirting with each other a lot lately, but that could just be Gold's personality! Kyran knew that Gold had been a little distant from relationships, or guys for that matter, ever since Prince had dumped her a month or so ago. Kyran knew that she was still a little sensitive about the subject, cause whenever he brought it up, her mood would shift drastically.

He had finally come to terms with himself. He would ask Gold if she wanted to go out with him later today. If she says yes, he'd be overjoyed. If she says no, he would cry himself to sleep that night. A win-win situation, really.

"Oh. He wants to talk to me?" Gold said blatantly towards Funneh. She was at her locker exchanging a thin science book for a thicker math book.

"Yeah. I don't know when, but I think today. Just keep an eye out for him. And don't shut him down!" Funneh screamed as she ran for her class, which was on the other side of the building. Gold, being her oblivious self, shook off Funneh's comment and went off to her class.

To her surprise, Kyran did come up to her, just like Funneh said. His face was redder than it usually was, but again, oblivious as can be, Gold shrugged it off.
