Office Visit

BING,BING! BING,BING! BING,BING! My alarm goes off the next morning and I turn over to snooze it. I lift myself out of bed and stretch as I yawn. I screw my fists into my eyes as I walk to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and take a shower. Once I finish I walk back to my room and change. I wear a black and white gingham mini skirt, a baby blue tight fitted tee, and nikes. I put my contacts in and apply mascara. I grab my bag and phone before heading downstairs. "Bye" I say as I open the front door. "No breakfast?" my mom yells out, in the kitchen. "Nope" I say before closing the door. "Have a good day" I hear her say as I run out to Cole's car. Cami is in the back seat. I open the door confused. Cole looks back at me "Don't ask" he says. I chuckle and get in the car. We drive to school. 

Cami and I get out of  the car and walk in the building. "Why are you mad at Cole?" I ask as we get to my locker. "Oh I'm not but I want him to think I am" she says back. "Why?" I say. "Because you have to establish partnership in a relationship, I can't be the only one doing all the work and making decisions" she says walking to her locker. I chuckle as I open my locker. I put my stuff inside and take out my permission slip. I close my locker and go over to Cami. "I'm going to the office to hand this in" I say holding up the slip. "Oh" she says as he digs in her locker. I wait, "Where is it" she says still looking. She stops and turns to me "That's right Cole handed it in for me." I shake my head and laugh as I walk to the office. 

As I'm almost to the door Luke comes up beside me. "Morning Elizabeth" he says with a smile. I walk into the office and lean on the counter. He stands next to me, "handing in the permission slip for the trip I see." I ignore him and wait for Mrs. Narwell to sit at her desk. She turns around from the filing cabinet and gets back to her seat, "Hi Lizzie" she says with a smile. I smile back and hand her my slip, "It's for the trip" I say. She takes it and puts it in the pile, "Thank you very much." Luke hands his in, "Here's mine Janice." She takes the paper and looks at him with a pressing look, "Luke I told you stop stop calling me by my first name, now get to class." I step away from the desk, "Bye Mrs. Narwell" I say before leaving the room. "Bye Lizzie, say hello to your mom for me" she says back. "I will" I reply. "Whatever you say Mrs. Narwell" Luke says to her before following after me. 

Luke continues to walk beside me. "So how have you been?" he asks. I ignore him and continue to look forward with my books to my chest. "The silent treatment? Come one Elizabeth what are you five?" he states. The bell rings and he grabs my books out of my hands and holds them up out of my reach. I turn to him reaching for them, "Give them back Luke!" He laughs "Oh so she speaks." I cross my arms "I'm going to be late give them back." He lowers the books and hands them back to me. "So are you going to talk to me now" he says with a smirk. I roll my eyes and head to the classroom. 

We walk in and the class looks up at us. Mr. Macavitch turns to Luke and I, " You're late" he says reaching out his hand. I reach in my pocket for my phone. I was about to hand it in but Luke holds out his hand and stops me. "She was late because of me Mr. Macavitch" He takes his phone out and hands it in, "She doesn't deserve to get in trouble, it was my fault." The teacher looks over to me "Miss Amethyst is this true?" he asks. I nod, "Very well, take your seats, the both of you" he says as he places Luke's phone on his desk. Luke and I walk to our seats. Cami turns to me. "Don't ask" I say looking forward. The teacher claps his hand once calling for everyones attention, "As I was saying before I was interrupted, Macbeth."

"Please" Cami pleads to Cole. "Cami no, I'm not going to the mall with you" Cole says back. "Why not?" she says irritated. "Because you take forever" he lets out a breath "I'm going to go get a pudding cup" he says getting up and walking to the lunch line. I let out a laugh and Cami smacks my knee, "It isn't funny" Cami says. "It was kinda funny" Dylan says with a grin. "I'm really bummed out I can't go on the trip" says Violet. "It's okay I'm not going either" Ella says patting her back. "That doesn't make me feel better" Violet says shrugging her hand away. 

The last bell rings and I go to my locker and get my bag. Tom drops me off at home. Once we make it to my house, I give Tom a kiss before getting out of the car and shutting the door. I wave at him as he drives off. I turn and walk inside the house. I close the front door and run upstairs. I walk into my parents room and go straight to their closet. I look around until I find a carry on and take it to my room. I pack my suitcase for the trip and take it downstairs. I set it aside at the bottom of the steps. 

I walk back upstairs and go into Stella's room. She's playing with her doll house and she turns to me. "Sophia?" I say with a smile. She drops her doll and runs to me. I laugh and I pick her up carrying her to my room. I let her down and close the door. We watch the show until she falls asleep. I walk her back to her room and tuck her in. When I get back to my room I shut the door, turn off the light, and head straight for bed.
