"Mommy... Mommy! Where are you?!" I'm all alone. I can't even see above the tall grass. It's so dark and scary out here. "Mommy! Daddy! Anyone?!" I fell to the ground in tears. Where is everyone? Why would they abandon me? As questions race through my head the sound of twigs snapping in the distance catches my attention. I jump to my feet. "Mommy! Mommy is that you?!" Red eyes flicker between the blades of grass. "That fur... You'll fetch a high price" the voice was gruff and heavy. Terrified, I ran. Looking over my shoulder I saw the pokemon that was chasing me. He was hunched, running on his hind legs. His fur was dark and rocky. There was no way I would win in a fight like this, I had no choice but to find a place to hide. I look around my surroundings to see a cave, the entrance was small, but luckily so am I. I dive into the cave entrance, barely escaping the grasp of my pursuer. "Why?" I whimper, falling to the ground exhausted. "Why am I so different from everyone else? Why did I have to be special?" I stomp the ground, the sound of the stomp echoing into the cave. "Even my own family didn't want me around!" I shout angrily, my own voice echoing back at me.

A few hours pass as I try to find another way to exit the cave, in fear that the Lycanrock would be waiting for me at the entrance. The cave was small, looked more like a den made by a Pokemon, though it's long since been abandoned. I felt a since of belonging, as if I had related to the cave. I decide to sleep for the night and wait till morning. Hopefully the bad guy will leave by then.

"A shiny Eevee!" a loud voice from outside woke me up. I stood up groggily, barely making it to my feet. "What do you mean there's a shiny Eevee in there?! Are you sure?" The voice was heavy, he sounded old. That's when I heard the pokemon from last night speak, "Yes I'm sure! A pelt like that would be unmistakable!"
I backed away from the entrance. What were they planning for me? We're they going to sell me? Skin me? CRASH! I was shaken from my thoughts the Lycanrock from last night blasts through the cave walls. Beside him stood an older pokemon, one I didn't recognize. He was huge, with a flame around his collar. Fire type pokemon don't usually hang around these grassy areas, he had to have been brought here by the Lycanrock. I back myself against the wall as the two pokemon approach me. "Wh-what do you want with me?! Why is my fur so special to you?"
The two Pokemon laugh. "We want nothing more than to make a profit. What the buyer decides to do with it is up to them. Now be a good little kit and hold still, wouldn't want to damage the merchandise" My body trembled in fear as they approached slowly. My eyes darting around looking for an escape, but I was surrounded. I closed my eyes and charged at the Lycanrock using the only move I know, tackle. It was useless, I bounced right off of him.
He scoffed "Nice try kid, but you're way to weak to take us on."
Blood dripped down between my eyes alongside my own tears. "Please... This isn't fair. I'm only a kid this isn't fair!" I began to scream as loud as I could, "THIS ISN'T FAIR!" The Lycanrock grabbed me by my tail and slammed me into the wall. "Shut up!"
I shut my eyes tightly, then felt my body hit the ground. "What the hell?!" The Lycanrock sounded upset but I was too scared to open my eyes.
I heard sounds of fighting and water flooded around me.
"We've gotta get out of here!" The voice belonging to the fire pokemon seemed frightened. I could hear them both running off with the splashing of water.
"Are you alright?" The voice sounded soft and deep. I was still scared, but finally began to open my eyes. In front of me stood a large turtle-like pokemon, canons protruded from the shell on its back. The most noticeable feature wasn't any part of his body though, but rather a fabric around his neck. I nodded in response to his question. "Rest now, I will take you to a healer nearby." Despite what I've just been through, for some reason I felt I could trust this pokemon. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to drift off as everything began to fade to black.
